安溪六大名茶简介
安溪自然环境得天独厚，茶树资源十分丰富，现已收集的茶树品种达50余种，被誉为“茶树良种宝库”。现将安溪最具代表性的六大名茶简介如下：
铁观音：原产于安溪西坪镇，系乌龙茶中之极品。其条索紧结沉重，茶汤金黄明亮，香气馥郁悠长，滋味醇厚甘鲜，被评为全国名茶和世界名茶。
黄金桂（黄旦）：原产于安溪虎邱美庄村，是乌龙茶中风格有别于铁观音的又一极品，具有“一早二香”的独特品质，1985年被评为全国名茶。
本山：原产于安溪西坪镇，与铁观音近亲，但生长势与适应性均比铁观音强，成茶品质好的与铁观音相近似。
毛蟹：原产于安溪大坪乡，适应性广，抗逆性强，易于栽培，产量较高，外形条索紧结，嫩叶尾部多白毫，内质香气清高，深受消费者青睐。
梅占：原产于安溪芦田镇，适应性广，产量较高，在不同产地能适制各种茶类。制红、绿茶香高味醇；制乌龙茶香味独特，品质优良。
大叶乌龙：原产于安溪长坑珊屏，适应性广，抗逆性强，根系发达，耐旱耐寒，抗病虫害能力强，产量高，品质好，深受消费者喜爱。
