Wednesday,Jan 23 2008, 03:05:44 PMEgypt- the kings of African football
The Egyptians have a reason to celebrate this evening after their team defeated one of africas finest, Cameroon. Proving that so far the title of 'kings of africa' awarded to them in 2006 is worthwhile and most deserved.
The first half begun with quite alot of pressing from the pharaos with Moh'd Zidan announcing his presence early on with an attempt on goal. He later on scored 2 goals, on the 17th and 47th minute of the first half. From the beginning the pharaos demonstrated a better strategy- a combination of short passes and pressing forward- that gave the opposition a tough time. It was as though they were leading the dance and forcing the cameroonians to keep up with their steps.
Egypt managed to score 3 goals in the first half, the first being a controversial penalty that was awarded for a supposed hand ball within the danger box. All hope was not lost and Cameroon was more composed in the second half, for a while the tables seemed to have turned around. Samwel Etoo had me jump from my seat after a good header, scoring the first goal for his team on the 51st minute. The Egyptian team however had the better game and I bitterly watched Hosny score the 4th goal for Egypt at the 82nd minute. Adding to my list of disappointments since the tournament begun.
The game ended after 3 minutes of added time and the score board was: Egy 4, Cam 2 (both goals by Etoo, the second was a penalty shot). There was a total of 3 yellow cards, two of which were awarded to Egypt. Although the entire pharao squad played well, Moh'd Zidan was the most exiting. And Etoo may be a star but A. Song, Arsene Wenger's new tool, was the better player this evening. It was very entertaining watching him tackle and run. I kept wondering why he started off as a substitute.
Finally, a word of advice to my favourites this CAN, please WATCH OUT!
Wednesday,Jan 2 2008, 10:54:49 AMlast year
To all of you listed as friends in my account both the recent and the old, i would like to wish you well in the beginning of this new gregorian year. Last year is now a memory and it was an experience. I learned a number of things, hanged out with family and separated from a friend. This year is a turning point for me inshallah but i will always look back so that i may remember what has been left behind.

Chidie was the last born in her family and all her sisters loved her soo much. They bought her many presents everytime they went ot visit, mostly toys because she loved toys. She had different kinds of teddies and dolls. Talking teddies, crying babies, and even singing ones. Big ones. Small ones.Hairy ones. Bald ones. But she never had a single Barbie doll. Not one! And for a long while she didn't care, she never knew what a Barbie is anyways. Until oneday one of her friends brought her Indian and Hawaiian barbies to school and let her play along, ...

3/9/2009 11:03 AMhi friend
My name is Nimrose, I am a middle aged business woman and I live in Tanzania. I m looking for true friends only.
A Special Bond
Even though we have never met,
I feel a bond between us.
A bond that should have taken years to build,
Yet was built in a month or two.
A bond that lifelong friends should have,
Although most never do.
A bond that I am glad to share with you...
My Friend and Confidant.
You are not here in body and soul,
But as a lighted rectangle.
You come to me every day as
A message on my screen,
A message that I can rely on
To cheer me up and make my day.
Through a keyboard we share
Our ups and downs.
I have opened my inner self to you,
And you have to me as well.
We have to trade secrets and laughs,
As well as sorrows and pain.
I have never met you, but feel as if
I have known you most of my life.
To most this might sound silly,
But I assure them, it is not.
If you accept my friendship please reply
