Yet, it takes disappointment to motivate you to greater things and achievement of dreams (though some memories stay on for a very long long time!)". What’s ur take on this, reader?

Some experiences teaches us endearing lessons. Both our reaction to them and the decisions we make tells how much we have learnt 4rm them. Yeah, life does take different turns but the way we align ourselves dictates how much we can go. You know, Oprah Winfery once said: "Challenges are special gifts to help US find a new centre of gravity. Don't fight 'em. Just find another way to stand."

THE TEST OF A SUCCESSFUL PERSON IS NOT AN ABILITY

The test of a successful person is not an ability to eliminate all problems before they arise, but to meet and work out difficulties when they do arise. We must be willing to make an intelligent compromise with perfection lest we wait forever before taking action. It’s still good advice to cross bridges as we come to them.

Hey, A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside!

EMOTIONS.....

Emotionsare the next frontier to be understood and conquered. To manage our emotions is not to drug them or suppress them, but to understand them so that we can intelligently direct our emotional energies and intentions....It`s time for human beings to grow up emotionally, to mature into emotionally managed and responsible citizens. No magic pill will do it.

SEX IS.....

Sex is a conversation carried out by other means. If you get on well out of bed, half the problems of bed are solved.

HOW TO READ A WOMAN`S MIND

How often have you felt that you don`t understand women? Well, I know a lot of men/guys who are sailing in the same boat as you are. Women, they tell me, are a complicated breed. It is tough to know what`s going on inside her head. Although, I can`t claim to be an expert on the subject, yet, i'd dare say I quite understand the mechanics of a woman`s mind; afterall, i've got female colleagues/friends even a sis. To know your woman better, you need to really be able to "listen" to her. And when I say "listen", I mean using not just your auditory senses, but using your other senses as well. A woman communicates by using more than mere words. Usually, she speaks with body language, eyes, and sometimes even through touch. If you were really cued in to your woman, you would be able to read her mind quite easily.

I don't like her but will I help her?

You found out that she has been falsely accused of making a mistake at work that could cost her her job. You know, for a fact, she didn't make the mistake because she was not even in your work area at the time. She has told the boss that as well but he doesn't believe her. He feels she just doesn't want to admit that she was responsible for making the mistake, because it is actually her work that has been affected by this error.
Now, you have the power to tell the boss the truth and you know he will believe you. Do you tell the boss the truth or remain silent? The woman will never ask you for help, she doesn't talk to you; yet you know from other people she is very worried about losing her job. Will you tell the truth or remain silent?

Why Do So Many People Only...?

I have seen many discussions, where the comments were way off base, because the one commenting did not bother to read the contents of the discussions!
Some discussions get really heated for no reason at all, only because people see the heading and go no further. Even some that don't get heated up, become unnecessarily re-directed by participating commentors; thus, making the subject lose its value/relevance.
Do you read the contents? Or do you only read the heading?

Why havin a sense of humor is important 2 ur ....

Why havin a sense of humor is important 2 ur relationship...

When life hands you problems, are you able to take them in stride and laugh off the inevitable, unavoidable hassles and annoyances that come your way? Very well, dear, some of the tricks to being successful in life are useful in encouraging romance in your marriage or relationship, too . . . and one of those important romantic ideas is having a sense of humor! We cannot laugh off every serious problem that life hands us. Illnesses and threats to your relationship (or marriage-if u are) are hardly humorous, and laughing in the face of serious problems such as these would be silly. Yeah.

But having a sense of humor does mean that you allow yourself to see the lighter side of situations that you can’t change . . . and let yourself laugh off your challenges every now and then! But, taking smaller problems and annoyances too seriously is giving outside influences more control over your happiness than they deserve. Now, i know u don't wanna do that.

By developing a thicker skin and laughing at minor challenges, you rob them of their power to control your life . . . and you make your romance even stronger!
So the next time you feel like getting upset over something that really has no consequence, try laughing at the annoyance instead; or, smile at best. You’ll be surprised at how much it improves your life, your romance . . . and you!

ACTS OF KINDNESS

One act of kindness can mean so very much, just a pleasant smile or a gentle touch. Maybe an encouraging word at the right time could end one's depression and make their eyes shine. Reaching out to others is what it's all about. It can be done quietly, there's no need to shout. When you perform an act of kindness you’ve dropped a pebble in a stream, the ripples can keep spreading out forever, it may seem. The person whose life you touched may reach out to touch their brothers, and those brothers may reach out to touch the lives of many others. God wants us to share our kindness and our love; He gave each of us the capacity. It came from up above. It feels good to help someone, to reach out when they are down, to put a smile on a face where once there was a frown. Remember, God is watching; He sees everything you do when you perform acts of kindness, God sends many blessings to you.
