Why is it there are some ppl who refuse to accept and yet do not let other ppl move on... If it has been decided as a no then give up and move on.. Why continue to 'drop' remarks as reminder to hold the person back. Isnt it selfish to hold the person back when you have decided that for some reason to let go? Just keep those "remarks" to yourself if you have decided to give up and stop stopping the person from progressing! Some ppl are just like that. They just don't find it irritating to play mind games and in the midst drag other parties for their "Tit-for-tat" game. Childish! If like then like. Dun like then dun like. Haha Was asking myself why am I feeling this way cause they say theres always a reason for feeling a certain way but I just cant seem to find the ans. Or mayb I do. I wish for a nice quiet retreat at a beach or just a quiet night enjoying the star.. When was the last time I sat and enjoyed the starling stars? Was it with HS many yrs ago or was it with Na and Leng? I guess time might have washed away the free time that we used to stare, stone and wonder~ I guess the time when we had chalet were over and time just drained the energy that kept us awake at night. I cant remember how long. I do have much to write but havnt had enough drive to sit in front of the screen to do this. Hence, <del>all</del> has been forgotten. I just remember time passing with events mostly routine stuffs. Da Vinci's exhibition is fantastic. It's filled with lotsa little gadgets. Kinda fascinated by how they work esp during those days. The mechanisms were simple. But the nicque lies in how they were used esp during those days. It's fascinating to know how Da Vinci used those mechanism for inventing battle equipments and manufacturing, threatre plays etc. Not forgetting how he borrowed the ideas from "how the body works" to come up with the most ancient "scuba equipement" and the different animal characteristics to invent. This might have been what would ppl relate as "ä¸¾ä¸€åä¸‰". Can you ever imagine things that are what they are now were thought by Da Vinci then? Kinda like he could already see through time. Next would be regarding this yr's N-day Have to give my 10 fingers and 10 toes up for this yr's NDP. The music and performance was very well coordinated. It seems to have a greater impact compared to the past yr's NDP. The events by the media was also commendable. Well linked to the Theme. They use a indirect way to lead us to feel that we belong to the company and eventually work together as one. Was wondering the question on the paper of what I do like about singapore while the cab was cruising along the road. It suddenly came to me that Singapore has really transformed through the years. Singapore has long been famed as the "garden city" long ago. It seemed that this characteristic has become more and more distinct over the years. As the vehicle travelled along the road, from the window, I realise that the car has passed by many unique clusters of buildings. Each cluster of buildings has its own distinct design and these have somehow blended with the greenary, akin to the different races blending together to form the country. It also gave me the idea that the whole community have also made up a garden housed with little 'residents' known as the residential houses. People are like the little bees and other living creatures working busily to keep the garden alive. Looking at these, I also realise that in order to have this, there must have been very proper planning. Were all this already pre-planned long ago when the government started? Or was it due to the later generation (the current ones) that have somewhat used their creativity to slowly mold things to incline in such a way or did was it both that shaped what I saw? Whatever it is, I realise that the very first thing that I saw when I touched down at the airport after I cleared my attachment in China that reminded me that I am on home ground is the plam trees and boganvilla flowers that lined the expressway from the airport. It's been sometime since I'm back from HK. Been wanting to blog since then but havnt had the chance till now. I had a lot to write during then but as time passed, I guess most of these thoughts faded... Now, I cant seem to recall the thoughts during then.. The trip to Hong Kong was a memorable one. I believe this was partly due to the weather. Kinda love the cool weather. And of course there is the unique streets over there. Walking the streets in Zhuhai, Macau and Hong Kong are different from walking those in Sg. Guess it's a different culture (though all are asian countries). Zhuhai seems like (and reminds me of) China. i'm not surprised as it's part of China. Kinda reminds me of the times @ shanghai.. The hotel was spacious. Beautiful. Macau's a unique one. A mixture of the more china / hong kong style building and the western (portugese to be exact) builds. Kinda love the western setting. St Paul, the street near St paul, the church etc~ Cannon tower was a interesting one as it overlooks the stadium and buildings. Fisherman Wharf and Venitian's the place which started my journey to "Dreamland coming to Reality". Fisherman Wharf's a place that's filled with many manmade structure. Structures that you'll find in European countries. Since I cant get there (as yet), Fisherman would be a good substitute... Venetian's a lovely place. The ceiling's painted white and blue. It makes the place looks like it has a open concept. Overall the place provides a "dreamy" setting.. Makes a good setting to the gamblers who are there filled with dreams of riches I guess~ A sudden thought came to my mind. What will happen if they create a section of "along the night streets" (where the sky is dark). After Macau was Hong Kong. My memory of Hong Kong was Disney land~ Though many ppl found Disney less fantastic as the rest of the place, I found it fantastic cause it really brought me back to dreamland. It's like entering a realm where fantasy turned reality.  There was a plague somewhere near the entrance which was rather meaningful. Part of it wrote, "Disneyland is dedicated to the young and the young at heart - with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration.." Somehow the words just sent a spark of joy through my heart and I realise that I can let the child within free~ That was the most fantastic day I had thus far. Esp the parade and the nightime firework in the night. Not forgetting the phototaking with the characters, the 3D donald duck musical show, the "lion" show and the stitch show. All those were fantastic~ the only pity was the camera being dysfunctional during all these events.. The rest of the time was spent on shopping. Shopping, shopping and shopping. Well, actually we went to the Ave of Stars, big buddha and the huang da xian too. Dropped by Lan Gui Fang. (A pity we didn stay to drink etc~~ Maybe the next time ba) We went to the peak too. A pity that the weather was too cold and misty. Due to this, nth could be seen.. But as usu~ We had our own fun taking many ridiculous pics~ Well, all in all the trip was fantastic. O yes. the hostel we stayed in was also commendable. The room can be on par with hotelrooms. The only down side was the outlook was not as fantastic as hotels. O yes. There's also the Obama poster that caught my attention. Says there "From Dreamer to Achiever". Sounds cool. But how many can make their dreams reality? Still, the slogan was started me thinking~~ All these events were bout 3 weeks ago... The past 2 days werent that fantastic. Got a very bad news. Walk-a-jog was not very well organised as well. Actually I have thought of the things needed like loud hailer and safety vehicle. But I didn do it.. Imagine getting 2 hits within 2 days.. Not gonna fill in the details. Feel like blogging in a good sense. Truth is that I've quite somethings to do and its already 11 plus... A list of stuffs that I want to do:- 1) scan through the news @ channel newsasia 2) update my expenditure for the day 3) clear the reading for the day for advance theory 4) write down my 1st driving lesson 5) update my thoughts and thinking for my first driving class and of course update this blog. Only 1 hr before bed time... Kinda wonder how to achieve this. Guess I'll have to see... Actually purpose of this blog is simply to write down bout the course at Adam Khoo's. My only feedback was the course rather nice. Motivational. A definite worth going. Learnt quite a bit of stuff that I wanna do it up and pin in coy... But doubt I have the time to do it before I forget. But this aint the right time as I'm having FTT soon hence a need to study for it. But I cant just lock everything in my mind for that long. Anyway, there havnt been much update recently.. Just waiting to go HK... Life in office's kinda bore. Hoping to have stuff to do but there aint much. So making use of this time to read up what ever's in the industry that I shld have picked up earlier or would be useful to know. Just a little bout work after going thru the proj.. - dun understand how come some designers can cont to apply their symbols wrongly, creating confusion downstream... - how come suppliers can maufacture parts when dimensions are not provided. How is it to be checked? So are we (QA) supposed to help them fill up the missing data? - component of 1 of the item seemed vulnerable. can it be left @ the top, or a layer of fireproof material be added in btw for safety?? Hmmm - was asking the designer how come 1 item got 1 big hole. Ans was to put sth thru. Designer say like it is a brainless qn... @ that moment feel like shooting back to the designer that the hole could also be created to reduce weight.. But nv shoot back.. anyway, its a wonder how come the designer didn realise that the hole could be used for weight reduction.. Haha once again, its nuff bt work. Yesterday did a very funny thing. The Fang gang (aka Fang's Nutty gang) managed to pull 2 palm trees to save a bic which was locked out for days as the key to open the lock was lost. Haha imagine a gp of ppl gathering round a bicycle @ 1am wondering how to remove the bic locked onto 2 plam trees. Haha Just now the was talking bt iceskating and blading... Then 1 of WW fren mentioned that iceskating for long dist uses longer blades. was wondering y... Aft sometime came to realise why ppl doing stunt iceskate req shorter blade.. I woke up @ 7plus in the morn. Couldnt think of anything to do... at least not at the moment.. The minds like swimming in a whirl pool and I'm wondering if it's the after effect of the pill. My nose's feels like a jammed up tap. It's blocked and it feels suffocating.. My throats as dry as the after effect of drinking a shot. Just that the effect of shots doesnt last as long as my throat does. Next time I'll recommand ppl who order shots to get sore throat instead. I've taken leave on Friday. Not cause I needed the rest (but of cause I welcome that) but because I had to take my basic ( O yes I've finally passed it. I can finally start taking driving class~). So it ended Wed was half day (New Year Eve), Thurs was New Year and Fri Was Arte's leave followed by Sat and Sun. But somehow the days just flew past and it's Sun already. Sometimes I just wish I could just stop time for a while.. Poop* Since it's Sun and I'm going to back to work tomorrow, I've decided to drop a entry today. The Xmas night was fun. Had a sleep over @ QY's. A few of the events of the eve - blackout due to new oven - UNO stacko - heart attack using poker - Twister - animal game using poker - bluff - the "add rule game" - YesMan (which I dozed off halfway thru as I didn find it funny but the rest did....) And we had lots and lots of food cause the forfeit of the games was either eat or drink.. New Year Eve was a quiet one. Wanted to stay home to enjoy some quietness. But was kinda bored to do it alone. End up QY and ZY came over from CCK and after much brainstoming of where to go (which would not be so crowded), we decided for movie @ AMK. Wanted to watch Bolt. But only realise that the timing for the show was actually day timing.... Ended watching Bedtime story. Show's not bad.... Other shows watched in the last 2 weeks include:- - Yes Man (during Xmas eve) - IP Man (which I found very nice. Very Action-pack and funny~~~ Definately worth watching) - Twilight (Which was also nice. Romantic, rather action-pack. I'll still recommand my gfs to go watch) - Bedtime story was also not bad. Funny~~~ So nv regret watching~~ That was really a lot of shows~~ WOW In the last 2 weeks, I've also spent a lot~ Buy bicycle, buy clothes, shopping~~ etc etc~~~ Woots! Think I really need a gold turtle... better still gold <del>hill</del> mountain. Ops* Kidding. Wait the entire world tink I'm really finding gold turtle... Managed to clear it on Fri. Finally. Anyway the paper that day was kinda diff fr previous. More situational qns~~ And some qn ans seem not to follow the book theory... Anyway, I've passed~ But the system was kinda gila that day so had to go back the nxt day (which was yesterday) to apply fer advance and PDL. No mood to type cause it's gonna be a long one. Tink the neck's muscle's pulled and the shoulder muscles also strained... But not very sure... only feel a bit erm 'suan'.... But well... All that can be done for now is only massaging it.... Cycling trip was well. Got a bit of burn on the thigh (which was why it's like so itchy and of coz the mosquito kisses too~~) Shall go into details later... SBU lunch was today. Lunch was normal. But all I can say to myself was "Welcome to the real world." Apparantly, over the past few days, I've somehow seen enough. Seen how ppl 'bribe' over ppl and somewhat use others... and others, watch the show and some just use the situation to gain popularity. I dun wish to go in the details of things I've seen over the past few days... But just a brief mention of what I've observed today.. A colleague (from 1 of the table) was drunk and creating a scene in from of the big bosses. Shouting their names. (I was wondering if he was shouting the names to praise them or in anger...) Till now, I choose not to comment nor do I wish to comment on the rumors that have been started (I kinda wonder, how will this story spread and what will happen to the guy...) Hopefully he does not get "S-ed" aft this event. I'm not sure if some of the ppl were really concerned or they were just acting or letting it happen. Maybe it was part of playing with politics... Maybe I'm tinking too much. Guess it's better to give benefit of doubt. But 1 of the thing I saw... Somehow it seemed to me that there was one who made use of the situation to increase visibility. Haha. The big bosses who were involved would not have noticed this.... What I saw was... Some 1 was obviously acting. Shant mention names. Another, sarcastically mentioned some stuff... As if they were really watching some free show at the dining area. Funny is it? Truth is that I've seen the guy go high before though I do not know him. What I felt is that if his frens know his character, they shld have sent him off aft the event before he made the commotion. There were so many of his frens around him, but only 1 pushed him away... Cant they carry him away together before he sprouted so much nonsense and got so close to the the bosses? Or were the ppl just happy watching the poor fella making a fool of himself and possibly getting himeself into trouble aft tat? You might claim that he's old enuf to tink. But some times, ppl just do things that are un-justifiable... That's where the frens come in... Was that not in their instinct or were they too shocked to have anticipated that? I'm not sure. Aft that there are still the ppl who fail to cont to happily describe bt him in such excitement... The only sensible remark if heard was "What caused that behaviour? What could have been of him?" Rest were just like what last time Jerry used to say, tea break tales~~ Disappointment. Gave QY a surprise yesterday. Went with the gurls over to her house... Added the DIY kenzo and the pooh to Wei's car's driver seat. Then drew a map for QY to find.... It was a funny one. We hid a lvl higher than her house lvl then gave her a call. We found a spot to peek at her and waited. We waited and waited for some sound from the door but there was none.... Aft a long long while, QY opened the door to get the envelop then closed the door and we wondered what went on... Then we heard the door opened again. Heard the lock unlocked and locked. Some one put on slippers and was leaving. We peeped. It looked like a guy wearing black pants... Prob her dad. Signaled Fang false alarm. Just as the signal was given, the sound of the door opening cam again... The door unlocked. Someone cameout to wear slipper. Door locked. The person passed by looked like her... We tiptoed to the lift. Saw it stopped at 7th floor (QY's floor). It went down. We took the nxt one. In case she stopped at 1st lvl outside the lift to analyse the map, we decided to stop at lvl then take the stairs to lvl one.... Caught Wei (from the back) at the stairs. He did not see QY comming out of the lift. Faintz* Started out blair witch proj. Sneakily sneaked to the carpark finding her.... Wei (and Sa initally) took the clip.... Aft sometime, QY finally found the car and opened it. Found Pooh, the DIY Kenzo and the card.... Called us. While Art and Fang walked towards her, Wei and Sa surprised her fr the back. What a surprise! A pity the entire thing was not captured down.... Fri and Sat.... Desaru trip was not bad... Enjoyed the cycling a lot. But of coz Arte still wanna complain bt the strong wind blowing against the dir we were heading. Somemore it was upslope. It really felt as though we didn moved an inch (esp with 1st gear...) The beach was great~~~ Rest of the part of the trip was ok. Maybe a more detailed one after getting home.. Glad to have gone for the Desaru trip. A rather nice trip out of sg. Kinda wonder why am I taking leave to torture myself worse still, at the end of all these, I find it rather nice and enjoyable~ (Suffered some ache here and there though~) =S QY's celebration was another fun stuff. Kinda enjoyed arranging the surprise fer her. Haha Was telling Fang, it seems like we are arranging a surprise for Wei's proposal to his gf. Haha~ Nxt time if the guys wanna propose I'll def help to throw in ideas~~ A pity it' sun and we couldnt have stayed out longer. All got work on mon... K la. Time for work.
