Personal
- About me:my name is Rebecca Wiles (Thomas) and I have two sons and a wonderful husband Weylin. I love to write poetry. I have been doing so since I was 14 years of age, which has been quite awhile back. It has always been an outlet for me, for I tend to initally hold all my feelings back. I love to garden and I love everything about wolves and I absolutely love star-gazing! Nearly every night I go out under the stars, for they are a source of inspiration for me! I love to inspire people! If you would love to read my poems, my website is http://beccas-corner.tripod.com

Gardenias saturate the night,
clothed in their array of lovely white.
Their fragrance permeates the nose,
and far outshines the perfect rose.
White Gardenias take me there,
while I sit upon my chair.
And listen to the crickets play,
in their orchestrative way.
I feel blessed to be,
alone in my revery,
on a White Gardenia night!

As the world slowly turns through wars in a distant land, soldiers in a battlefield with tanks and endless sand.Fighting in a war that never seems to end, fighting an enemy without a hope or friend. As the world slowly turns through endless strife and pain, fatherless little children; funerals in the rain.Presidential canadates who talk of nothing more, than racial slurs back and forth, but the rest of us ignore. As the world slowly turns, many hearts are torn.Letters post-marked "returned", as fatherless babes are born.Speeches by the president: "We cannot ...

Monday,Feb 11 2008, 07:08:09 PMThere is a place
There is a place where the wolf still howls, and the icy wind does blow. And the stars you can see for miles away, far from the place we know.
There is a place where silence is found, and you can hear the haunting whipporwill. And sit for hours counting stars, while time stands soft and still. There is a place where rivers flow, where deer and bears roam free.Majestic mountains standing tall, with an air of mystery. There is a place that calls to me,A place I long to go.Where nature is still there to see,far from the place we know!© By Rebecca Wiles
