From 27th to 29th the skate jakarta 2007 was held. It was some feast of entertainments in my working hours there since I could watch many great skaters compete for some series of medals and titles, of course.
The first day the highlight were pair skatings from Bandung, too bad Sky Rink didn't have any pair skaters competing. The funniest was the children pair, 7 and 10 years old. So cute, sweet and lovable.
Next day I met Sam and only could watch his interpretive sesion. Really funny indeed, he could swing as the upbeat music played =D. But there were some spotlight events which were so attractive as well. Like a cowboy shooting a bottle of wine and in the end the bullet hit his head =P (nice remote control technique there!), a dangdut dancer, a dancing penguin with "ice ice baby" music, and so on.
The last day was the top events. Artistic events were shown very gracefully, team compulsaries with modern dances on ice, and one lolly pop drama of children years 6-8 playing as ants...sooo cute!!! I really enjoyed the show. Even I didn't realise how cold I was and suddenly came home sick and dizzy. Anyway, it made me want to skate even more.....
