Day 1

Well I guess my first visit to one of the most beautiful spots on earth "Lebanon" was not as half as I expected. My friend and I landed in Beirut on Monday 10/07/2006, the city looked spectacular from air as it looked from the ground, the clear blue waters of the sea, the green slopes of the mountains and the buildings along in between.

We picked up our laugage and took a taxi to "Le Merredien commedore" where our reservations were set before hand. "Room 624" the cute girl at the reception said as she gave us the card for the room, we hurried up fast to the room to throw the bags, we didn't want to miss a second in a four walled room.

The hotel was in the Hamra distrect, on a narrow street and a crowded area, full of friendly people walking, selling and talking, hot young girls walking in the humid weather.
