To all of my friends:
It is with some remorse that I depart here. But as in nature, I leave no trace. Thank you for all the kind words, gestures and the things we shared, however small. It's time for me to return to my own kind, the people of all the great peaks of the world. When you are a mountaineer, you take a pledge that you will look out for one another with your very life if needed. Relationships between climbers are more close and personal than even family members can attain. When we make mistakes or lose sight of that pledge....people die. Therefore, each and every one of us look out for one another in every aspect across the globe. May the gods bless my mountain people, they have always been there for me. Thank you for being there for me today as I stumble and for lending a helping hand without criticism.
