I know from time to time one must notice one's self changes. Whether they tend to fall on the positive or negative side of the fence; change is change. People seem to notice change in friends, style, weight gain, social habits, but when it comes to religion or faith it seems you must come to a huge big flashing red sign saying hey! change! change! before someone realizes that maybe the person "themself" has changed. It just seems to me in this times day and age that the growing Christian has missed out on their growth spurt. With every opportunity of growth it's like a huge anvil is just placed on top of your head inhibiting any upward sprouts. But what is one to do to promote stimulization? I'm sure maybe some vitamins, couple of glasses of milk, or maybe a box of wheaties...or cheerios (depending on your colesterol) may help produce some form of change and maybe even a positive difference. Instead, how about a way to remove the anvil. To remove situations, outlooks, influences, or even negative spiritaul problems. How about starting with an inner growth to become closer to God. I'm sure if you really think about it you may feel what you could call being lonely, maybe a lonelisness to feel closer, to be a better person, to improve your outlook. Loneliness affects people morally, relationally, financially, physically, and mentally. Someone may tolerate an unhealthy relationship in a desperate attempt to escape loneliness. When people get down, they may go shopping, using a credit card to buy items they can’t afford. Some attempt to escape loneliness by eating, not to satisfy physical appetites, but to fill the void left by a lack of connection. Loneliness hinders a person relationally because he or she feels so unaccepted and separated from others. Left untreated, loneliness can lead to depression, and other physical problems.Mentally, an isolated person can be hindered by less creativity, productivity, and energy that someone who has strong friendships. Loneliness has the potential to completely destroy a person’s life.
