New adventures are on their way.

Well see there for once we have a fortune cookie that does not leave you waiting wanting or hoping for something to happen. LOL Wrong again more silly advice that do not send one out to work ard do well and accomplish much of anything.

I still object to the advice here because it implies that you have to depend on forces outside of your self to draw on strength and get anything done.  The person is not the only sourse of activity or good in the world but it is a poor use of time to look for things to happen to you without doing much of anything.

of a gracious host.

Well that is open ended to be sure. I will be a guest of  gracious host? hhhhmmmmm

It could make a person feel good to know they will be in the company of a good and gracious person.  To share a meal and conversation with kind people might just mak anyone feel good. Yet again this slip of paper makes promises that life can not and may n keep and you will never find happiness waiting for things that might hapen.

Your Wisdom Will Find a way.

Well there is a happy idea to be sure. In order for this to be good news you would have to confirm for yourself that you were indeed wise, then you would have to know aht way you wanted to go and take heart that you would arrive.

This fortune hidden in the cookie might make one or two happy but if you think it over, it really tell you to trust in yourself and you should have known that before you opened the cookie.

Well I trust a whole lot more in hard work than I do in luck, and I have no idea at all what phase the moon is in or even when the nest full moon is.

With this bit of advice do they mean to make people wait for good things?  Patience is a great thing and it is worth expoliting at every chance, the ablity to wait can gleen good things in life.

So we can agree it is good to wait and work hard, but it is very silly to sit back for the moon to turn and do nothing.

Well now that sounds very happy and like this friend is bring good news. Not liking this fortune so much. If no friend brought a big suprise then would it mean that I had done something wrong.

This one just gets your hopes up for no good reason. Todays slip of paper in the fortune cookie does not help in cheering me up at all. Today was busy and I was not counting on thi for a smile or a warm fuzzy, good thing there.
