Biography:

Hailing from Melbourne Australia, IRiS are a 4 piece rock / pop powerhouse. They formed in 2005, and on the strength of a simple home demo, secured their first gig on national television on 'The Big Night In', which showcases local and international musical talent.

Since then they've enticed the attention of acclaimed American producer Cory Churko, who has worked with and played alongside superstars Shanai Twain and Kelly Clarkson. After a writing session with Brett, Cory was so impressed he flew back to Melbourne to record with the boys, and the result is IRiS's debut 5 track self-titled EP.

The strength of the vocals on the tracks are no accident. Brett was discovered busking on the streets of Perth at 19, and not long after flew to Miami to compete in a singing contest organised by Lou Pearlman (N'Sync, Backstreet Boys) and placed in the top 10. His writing style began to turn the heads of the musical elite in Australia, and upon moving to Melbourne spent some time working with Ralph Carr Management (Tina Arena).

IRiS have been playing consistently and solidly, including sold out shows at The HiFi Bar and LIVE (Crown Casino), two of Melbourne's most prestigious live music venues.

Their first single, Suicide Town, is just about to hit commercial radio in Australia. Expect big things from IRiS.
