the bike culture in china i think is very big.
my friend who was gone there for education told me that there are few people there would like to take a bike to school, but to take a car themselves or by bus, subway etc.
but in China, especially in small cities, bike play a very important role.
the students, for example, are most wanna take bikes to school instead of buses. that's because in China, we have to get to school at 6:00 morning, till to 22:00 the night........then i think there would not be any buses here, and here's no subway btw. so the only choice for us is to take a bike.^^
btw, look at this photo, i have shoted it this afternoon, before we gonna take an exam. you can see bikes everywhere, and here oso offer a place for parking bikes.
ohhhh.. chinese students study soooo hard, and we get few time to play or travel etc. i think i would go for a trip after i get into college!

You must know that China now suffered a very big earthquake of Wenchuan of Sichuan Province. I felt the shake too. i remember it was in May 12th, i was sleeping that time. i didn't feel the shake, but continue sleeping. then i was pulled out of classroom by my classmate, shouting"earthquake!! earthquake!!...." and seeing a lot of people were running out of the buildings! all of us were in panic! peace came later... and very lucky, no one's getting hurt. i got to know that there was a 7.8 level earthquake in 四川的汶川(Wenchuan Sichuan Province)!! shit!! China has been suffered too much! from that snow disaster to this earthquake.. china! you could overcome it! wish you luck
