As you might already know, the situation in Darfur, Sudan is not getting any better.
Genocide is not to be tolerated and so, by signing this petition, you are urging

just a quick copy of an email i just sent regarding the military coup in Bangkok last night:
no trouble down here at all... in fact there's none in bangkok either by all the accounts! the prime minister was pretty much kicked out a while ago - he's a billionaire who then made more billions by seeling shares in a gas company. he paid no tax - changing the laws so he didn't have to! he refused to go really though, coming back as a 'caretaker' prime minister. this coup has been a last resort, ordered by the king i think, who's a great man for the people ...

Well, most people i'm in contact with will already know... but i go to bangkok on friday - with a one-way ticket!! i don't know how long i will be there.. maybe i'll go and work and/ or study in china, but think i really need to go to tibet and nepal... into the himalayas! woooooosh!! (as well as a beach holiday or two of course!)... it looks like i could be gone from UK for a looong time!!
So, i'll still be on here, but probably not as often... and not a uk treefella anymore...mmm..maybe i'll change that now i've sold my chainsaw and all my tree ...

Hey.... I'm off to Spain tomorrow!! i will be loving it - fly to santander, then to meet a friend in leon for a few days, before going to meet my friend in ortigueira, in the north west - he's brought a far, up there, lucky guy! But alot of work needs doing to it, so it will be a working holiday!! (Work + Holiday sounds wrong!!)
So... I'll ee you all in a couple of weeks, hopefully fully refreshed and with a few tales to tell yous!

Hey guys.. i want to go and get my PADI certificate... so i don't feel like some flotsam/ bait lying on top of thewater for all the shaks to look at! Can anyone please give me advice? like is september ok to go andaman coast (krabi south) in thailand - visiblity ok? and where's best to train? busy place like krabi, or straight to ko tarutao? was thinking of calling in Koh Chang to get a tatoo maybe, but i know water visibility is not so good there. also, is the price difference great between thailand and malaysia?
