.....Good Morning to all my cherished people out there, for those of you who do not know, last year was a very challenging one for me, I have prevailed and evn though the result is not exactly what I wanted, only God knows the path that has been chosen for me, I can only pray that your path be not as difficult, I truly believe that God will only give us what he knows we can handle/shoulder, even though we may not realise it.

So today this is me waxing eternal, please read and be inspired and tell me if you "feel" me!

Real intimacy is much different from the common meaning of the word "intimacy". It is the condition in which we can share our deepest thoughts and feelings with another and the other person is able to understand and appreciate us. There is sincere sharing and receptivity, a state of pure empathy. This is a condition for which we all long. But unhappily, in most cases, our experience of intimacy is severely limited.

Some of us develop very good relationships but stop short of intimacy. Even in our transactions with those who are close to us. Intimacy may be lacking. The reason for this is that in order to achieve this highly desirable state we must be able to unburden ourselves fully to some other person. We must be able to share our fears, worries, hopes and desires, our hurts, failings, sucesses and triumphs to another person who is receptive and sympathetic towards us.

But this is difficult for most of us to do. We shy away from this degree of openness because it is risky, we do not know what the other would do with our disclosure. We could very well encounter criticism, "picong" or rejection.

In order for us to reach this superior level of human communication and understanding we must be able to trust others. But, for those of us who have been hurt, or who suffered betrayal, this is a difficult thing to do because we may hold vivid memories of our pain.

One of the first steps in our growth to intimacy is that we must forgive the past offences which others committed against us. We must also forgive ourselves for any past hurt which we may have inflicted on others, and for the occasions when we allowed ourselves to be victimised.

We must also be deeply committed to our own growth. This capacity for intimacy is also enhanced by the level of our communication with God as we understand Him.

"My personal growth will enhance my capacity for intimacy. Intimacy will help us both to rise to higher levels of human existence"

LOVE has no portion of merit or demerit
No balance or imbalance
No boundary no matter the distance
LOVE seeks to uplift
To bring closer and still closer
Love crosses all boundaries
Breaks down all barriers
and leaves in its place a calm,
so deep, it cannot be comprehended
LOVE accepts as is
Does not seek to change
but seeks to enhance
LOVE gives and gives and still,
Love does not seek to take
Know that when you are loved,
You are truly loved

Love has nothing to do with somebody else
it is your state of being
love is not a relationship
a relationship is possible
but love is not confined to it
it is beyond it, it is more than that.
A man, a woman, becomes mature
the moment they start loving
rather than needing
they start overflowing
they start sharing
they start giving
and, when two mature persons
are in love
one of the greatest paradoxes
of life happens
one of the most beautiful phenomena
they are together, and yet
tremendously alone
they are almost one
but, their oneness does not destroy
their individuality
Know that when you are loved, that you are truly loved
