If you are surfing with HSDPA or 3G modem .

Now, I have good news for you. There’s a fix for it. It’s a registry tweak that adjust the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) of Windows that’s just right for 3G connection. In layman’s term, it modifies the maximum data it sends at a time.

Just download the registry file PPP & Tunnel MTU Registry attached to this blog and merge it with your registry. By the way, this only works for Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.First: Log on to yours modem example: You see any network connection type with network  selection' WCDMA ,GSM etc Choose "Only WCDMA" other wise leave it that way(Depend on how strong the signal is)

 Step1 : (Windows OS user) ByWise Worm Blogs

Open a Notepad Copy and paste the line below:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NdisWan\Parameters\Protocols\0]
"PPPProtocolType"=dword:00000021
"ProtocolMTU"=dword:00000578
"ProtocolType"=dword:00000800
"TunnelMTU"=dword:00000578

 now saved the notepad as "TweakMTU.reg" (Double Click this file apply it to registry)

Step2:

Start/run (Type in) "gpedit.msc" Go to Administrative Templates \ Network \ Qos Packet Scheduler \Limit reservable bandwidth ... Set "Enable" then Reduce from 20% to 0%

Now Restart yours Windows And enjoy the "unleash" Speed... :p
