La Marciliana
The Marciliana is a Middle Age festivals hold in Chioggia ( a town close to Venice ) in the third week-end of June.
Its name is from an ancient commercial ship widely used by the people of this town during the whole Middle Age and until 1700.
The festival is mainly connected with the history of the town between 1200 and 1400, and the war with the Republic of Genoa.
