فالنبدأ بهذه المقولة إن الضغط العصبي يصيب الناس بالغباء....
كان أحد الأشخاص رئيسا مستبداً في عمله يرهب من يعملون معه وهذه القصة اخذت عن جريدة امريكية عند وقوع الحادثة في ذلك اليوم في عام 1978 كانت الطائرة تقترب من يورت لاند في ولاية أروجينا عندما لوحظ بأن هناك مشكلة في الجهاز الخاص بهبوط الطائرة و أخذ الرئيس المتبد يمارس الأدداء التقليدي محلقا في الجو إلى ارتفاع شاهق, مع الانشغال بأصلاح جهاز الهبوط وبينما كانت مشكلة جهاز الهبوط مستحوذة على فكره, كان خزان الوقود يقترب من النفاد.أما مساعدوه الطيارون الذين خافوا من ثورة غضبه بسبب استبداده, لم يتدخلوا بالرأي حتى عندما كانت الكارثة وشيكة الوقوع. وبالفعل حدثت الكارثة. تحطمت الطائرة وقتل عشرة أشخاص.
هذه القصة تُدرس للطيارين اليوم في تدريبات الأمان بوصفها حكاية تحذيرية وعندما اخبرت صديقي الطيا عن هذه القصة قال لي ان هذه القصة كانت درس من دروس الطيران في ايام اردتداده لكلية الطيران, قائلاً لي متبسماً فالمعروف أن 80% من حوادث الطائرات تقع نتيجة لما يرتكبه الطيارون يمكن تجنبها إذا عمل فريق الطائرة معا بمزيد من الانسجام. فالعمل الجماعي يفتح خطوط تبادل الأفكار و المعلومات, و التعاون, و الإنصات إلى الآخرين, و التفكير بصوت مسموع. و اليوم يتم التأكيد على مبادئ الذكاء الاجتماعي في تدريبات الطيارين, جنبا إلى جنب. وتعتبر كابينة القيادة في الطائرة .وذجا مصغرا لأي تنظيم للعمل ولكن النقص في الاختبار الدقيق لواقع تحطم الطائرة الدرامي والآثار المدمرة للمعنويات البائسة للعاملين المرعبين. أو عجرفة الرؤساء, أو غيرها من عشرات التغييرات المهمة في واقع العمل أو اي علاقة عاطفية أو علاقة زواج نتيجة العجز العاطفي. و علامات نتائج هذا العجز العاطفي, تتمثل في انخفاض الإنتاجية, أو ارتكاب الأخطاء, أو الأحداث المؤسفة, و هجرة الموظفين الجماعية إلى مواقع عمل أخرى أكثر تجانسا روحا وطبعا و نفس الشيء فب العلاقات الزوجية مما يأدي إلى الانفصال. ولا جدال في أن انخفاض مستويات الذكاء الاجتماعي يؤدي حتما إلى أدنى مستوى في مجال العمل. وعندما يستمر خط الذكاء الاجتماعي في الانخفاض يهدد الإفلاس والانهيار الشركات و نفس الشيء في العلاقات الزوجية باختصار.
ولك أن تتصور ماذا تكون عليه إنجازات مجموعة من العمالة لا يستطيع الفرد فيها أن يعبر عن غضبه, أو يحث بمشاعر من حوله, وكيف يتأثر التفكير أيضا, تأثيرا ضارا نتيجة للإثارة والتوتر, وكيف ينعكس هذا على الإنتاج في اي علاقة او في العمل, أو التعلم, أو اتخاذ قرارات واضحة. و من هذا المنطلق نقول ان الضغط العصبي يصيب الناس بالغباء.
أما على الجانب الإيجابي, فلك أن تتصور الفوائد التي يجنيها العمل, إذا توافرت لدينا المهارة في قدراتنا الأساسية المتناغمة مع مشاعر من نتعامل معهم, و كيف نكون قادرين على معالجة الخلافات حتى لا تتصاعد ولدين القدرة على الوصول إلى حالة تدفق المشاعر في اثناء العمل. هذا لأن قيادة العمل في أي مجال لا تعني السيطرة, بل هي فن تحفيز الناس على العمل لتحقيق هدف مشترك على أساس التحكم في مسار حياتنا الخاص وقد يكون الأكثر أهمية وضرورة هو إدراكنا لحقيقة مشاعرنا العميقة بالنسبة لأفعالنا, والتغيرات التي تجعلنا أكثر رضاء عن عملنا و علاقتنا الزوجية او العاطفية بشكل خاص.
