A testing passage where anguish and apprehension are constant concerns

Where our bodies are enticed by materialistic pleasures

And our minds are seduced by physical temptations

Whilst our spirit seeks something greater

Guided by fates call

Limited only by the hearts desire and the fear of the unknown that binds us so easily

Searching the skies unceasingly

For the inspiration in the shadows

An all-encompassing radiance to take us by the hand and guide us

To a place of harmony where an instant stands still

Because love banishes trepidation

Forcing the instant to bow

And the moment to swell

The slightest touch of a fond hand

Becomes a lifetime in tender arms

Whilst the softest caress from a fervent lip

Holds a euphoric rush to send the senses wild

The skin tingles and the breathing becomes deeper

The muscles tighten and the heart pounds faster

As the sensation surges through us

Our bodies aching with anticipation for the next time

When our eyes meet and our passion may unfurl

Bringing release to the tension and the longing that has consumed us for so long

Knowing that anything worth having is worth fighting for

How can we do anything other than

Concede to the devotion that pulls at our core

And press on for that moment where nothing else exists
