What has happened to Lulu,mother?

What has happened to Lu?(令個頭去左面)

There's nothing in her bed ____  but an old rag doll

And by its side __ (令番過黎)a shoe.

(令個頭向左 + 向上)Why is her window wide,mother,

The curtain flapping free, (向左 + 向下) 

And only a circle on the dusty shelf (令番過黎啦*)

Where her moneybox used to be?

Why do you turn your head,mother,

And why do the tear drops fall?                                                                    

And why do you crumple that note on the fire __                                                 

And say it is nothing at all?(頭耷耷...*)

I woke (彈番個頭上黎...)to voices late last night,                                                  

I heard an engine ro_ar.                                                                              

Why do you tell me the things I herad                                                           

Were a dream __ and nothing more?

I heard somebody cry __,mother,                                                                     

In anger __ or in pain,
