The world seems to be listening to the secret of the heart, Gushing waves tell me a story, A Story that my heart doesn’t seem to understand of even knows, A secret the birds sings, I don’t hear, Answer to a question I know nothing of, Reveal itself in the wind, The trees sway to give me hints, What am I to understand?? What is the secret?? Confusion shakes my body like electricity, Confused, Denial the clouds says pointing and me from above the sky, Screaming in my head . I sit and ponder . Appears the gentle soul of a friend, “the answer you seek is not in your head.”, With squinted face I stood in the dismal night and listen to the words . “Everything you need to know its in your heart.” Tears flowing down my cheeks and I knew !!I understood!!!

  Once upon a time there was a prince and princess who lived at two ends of the earth .One day the princess ,sweetyetsimple travelled to the land of the prince to celebrate her birthday in a grand ball .Entered the princess to the ball with all her friends ,there was music ,dancing everyone was enjoying the festivities .Princess simple went to the ball hoping to just have fun but somehow she was just standing there her eyes roaming towards the crowd and all the people looking lost .Her spirit was just not so bright as she normally is . Somehow princess sweetyetsimple’s eye’s wandered to a prince his name was prince lover boy for a few seconds her eyes could not stop staring at him .Unnoticed she stood there watching him with his friends wandering to herself that she had somehow felt an electric pulse at that moment .The prince didn’t even look in the direction of the poor princess. Her eyes tired of staring made her way to the royal dance floor and danced and danced with poise and grace. The prince's eyes somehow connected with the princess and they both smiled at each other staring and losing themselves in each other’s eyes .Princess simple gently looked away and blushed. The prince then proud as ever made his way to the dance floor but he didn’t go toward the princess he just danced and danced turning his back towards her. The princess was agitated .She couldn’t take it anymore and slowly made her way next to proud prince and danced on his back. He gently turned around and smiled knowing that he wanted her to dance with him all night .The princess was glad ,she was dancing with him and they both danced and danced somehow lost in time not even hearing the words of the songs playing .It was like if they were overcomed with a magical spell. striked midnight and sadly the princess had to leave and go back to the land where she came from .Prince lover boy was sad saying to himself “why couldn’t this night be longer?”. As she was about to leave the ball she turned around and smiled and looked at him knowing she’ll always remember him ...

Don’t you think life is funny?? Well I think it is….We have to go through so much to learn a small lesson although it’s a good thing..sometimes I think if we could just press a button and delete stuff right before it turns into a big and ugly situation then we’d all be happy… lol .Well my story starts I have been working a lot lately its been almost two years and no vacation. My friends often tell me I work to much then again I do lol….All the staff in my office was getting a week of and well off course I was the last person to get one since my boss always has a problem to give me time of. Finally it was my turn I decided to go to Trinidad for the weekend I wanted to see all my friends and hang out and have fun and my boyfriend was going with me also as well as his family .I must admit my boyfriend didn’t really like my friend Darren because he thinks he likes me more than a friend ….I ignored that I guess deep down he didn’t really understand the type of friend I am to people .I don’t blame him at times for being a bit insecure because its only human nature but at the same time take time to understand me .I arrived in Trinidad with my boyfriend’s family since he was in Trinidad a day earlier .I was ecstatic. He met us at the port and we were on our way to meet his family since this would be my first visit to meet them. We arrived and one of his uncle’s house at around 7.00pm and we parked outside ,my phone rang it was my friend Darren I had invited him to come and hang out with me and my friends that same night .Mark asked if I was inviting him I said yes !! He just started to shout and behaved in an aggressive manner his dislike for Darren occurred with a text that was meant to be a joke and he took it the wrong way .I was immediately upset he was shouting and screaming I had never felt so humiliated especially in front his family and mother ..I told everyone I just wanted to go back to Tobago since my long awaited vacation is ruined ……My really close friend Max had come along for the trip and he told me lets talk and we did and I calmed down since his mom told me to stay I stayed because of her. That night we did go out and Darren was still coming to meet me I really needed a break sice my job is stressful I was upset and my mood was “spoilt) .Towers is the place we decided to go to. When we arrived Darren was already there I greeted him and Mark was not interested in meeting him .I wanted them to talk ,to ensure Mark that He was only my friend .My boyfriend called Darren and told him to meet us there he wanted to talk to him. Well that didn’t work so well he walked out and went downstairs to everyone the expressions on his face was that of anger but to him he needed to cool his mind of then talk to him. Well I stormed downstairs’ to see what was happening and everyone was all hyped up I was getting more and more upset what was happening  I couldn’t take it!!!!My friend left the party and eventually came back but I was to upset to have fun .Meanwhile I finally went and talk to Mark I text him and told him he doesn’t have a girlfriend anymore!!! He was really upset but there was nothing to make this turn into a situation .I did understand how he felt but he didn’t handle his feelings rationally and he thought I didn’t. Sometimes when someone is in a relationship there comes times when you will feel insecure &jealous but you need to find ways in dealing with this without the use of anger. My friend came and told me “It better we don’t be friends anymore “before he left and that hurt because he was my friend but the old scenario was one that was exaggerated I guess and everyone made it so hyped up …….I care about Mark but when I reached back home we needed some time apart ..i needed to just get some space and just accept and come to terms with what had happen ….My friend Darren respects my friendship and my commitment to Mark …Mark’s concern is that he has to know where the line is drawn ….My boyfriend and I are still a couple as every couples certain aspects need to be worked on we both are not perfect but n a relationship a line should be drawn to friends and to one’s space .Darren may still remain my friend but a distant as he respects me and Mark even though he doesn’t know it …I care a lot about my friends and he needs to understand the person I am…I need to talk to him and make him understand who I am I guess .My advice I know communication is the key to a strong relationship!!!!Trust me ….and understanding ….
