Here's da scoop!

My soon to be X-hubby and I were supposed to be "working out our differences".

Two weeks later, he must have changed his mind and didn't bother to share it with me.

He went behind my back... (I would have been decent about it and told him, first)... It takes about two weeks to draw up divorce papers.

Well, he then goes and has me served the papers on Friday.  He then takes off and is no-where to be found.

All this and it's the day before our daughter's 9th birthday.  She asked  me today why it couldn't have waited until after her birthday.

So...

I have my freedom now.  I can take the kids where I want to; I can go to my family get-togethers and we'll do other things.

That's pretty much the main event in my life right now. 

Life lesson learned!

When you're a big woman, never break out in a run after your children wearing flip-flops...

One day, 'Lil Miss Diva (pictured with me) was so crabby that her daddy and I were tickling her in the clinic to get her to laugh (usually brightens her spirits when we do).

I must get a twinkle of some kind in my eyes or some sort of look on my face because my kids always know when I'm going to be mischievous and go after them.

So...On the way out of the building, 'Lil Miss Diva looks up at me, smiles that Oh... *s**t* smile and starts running. I, of course, start running after her.

Well, I lose my balance and fall flat on my face in the middle of the hallway. LMAO Oh the hilarity!

She comes back running asking if I'm okay. At this point I'm laughing so hard I couldn't speak.

After my husband helps me up off of the floor, he says... "not such a good idea after all, huh?"

LOL... All I got out of it was a missing bead or two from my flip-flops (DARN IT) and a 3" rug burn on my arm.

Surely the people on the first floor must have thought something blew up. LOLOL

In the car she says... "Mommy, you and Daddy are always full of surprises... I didn't think you could still run"

OMG... where do they come up with this stuff. hahahahahaha



(and to think the old Totem would be positively mortified!!! Not the new one though... it is tooo funny!!)
