About Me:
I'm a patriotic American, so I'm fed up with my government, which ignores the Constitution. I'm Jewish and I challenge you to think of me as a human being with my own brain and political ideas and not just jump to a bunch of conclusions about me now that you know my religion. I'm really tired of people telling me what I think as soon as they know I'm a Jew. Just for starters, I don't think all Muslims are terrorists. And yes, I DO have relatives in Israel. I hope that they don't get blown up the next time they board a bus. I also hope no more Palestinians get blown up the next time they walk near a Hamas member. I guess you could say that I believe that people are humans.

I'm sure that you know...yesterday, the 4th of April, was the 40th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King's assassination! If he were alive today, I would have asked him to go to Israel and the Palestinian region, and let him see how well he could encourage peace and brotherhood among everyone there. I believe that he would have been successful, since he was a man of peace!

The world could use someone of his stature, moral integrity, and firm belief in non-violence.
Good luck in your Hebrew studies!

Shalom, Josh...I consider myself to be a friend of the Jewish people and Judaism, even though I don't read/write Hebrew (I am going back to learn Hebrew I at the synagogue sometime this year, I forgot most of it), and yes, I have for the last 2 years been following the Hebrew food guidelines found in the *Christian* Bible (Old Testament)! I believe that the Jewish people are quite misunderstood by many people not Jewish! By the way, you are very good at changing from a lion to a primate! What's your secret to doing that so well? (grin) Is it easier than it looks? Humor aside, I would love to visit the Holy Land someday, and pray that all people in the Israeli-Palestinian zones will all one day sit down and dine together in peace!!! I was just surfing through, and had to stop and say hello. Have a beautiful weekend, ya' hear?

You know, TestTubeBaby, I don't go to websites because people I've never heard of recommend them. However, my ears perked up when someone on the radio mentioned this website, and explained what it was. So anyhow, www.freerice.com is an entertaining English vocabulary game that donates rice to the hungry for every correct answer you give. Also, it places you at a challenging level (from 1-50) based on your correct answers. The default starter level is 40. What's your best score?

nothing new at all... was just taking a break from house cleaning (which I love so much, let me tell ya!) and was browsing some posts, came across yours and wanted to say hello cuz I haven't talked to you in a long time. I have a habit of neglecting my friends cuz I have a very short attention span lol

HI, Eunice, pleased to meet you. That was quite an essay on your homepage! Now that I've met you, could you comment on the relative status of languages in the Philippines? It seems to me that one language is much higher in prestige. When I get students who speak another, though, their parents tell me that there really are no books available in that language, anywhere, to read with their children.

Please excuse my ignorance, Eunce, but if Tagolog is not permitted in schools, what is the language of instruction? Not Ilocano, I imagine…

That's a huge shame. Not everyone is good at foreign languages, but everyone should be able to expect an education from his or her state.

I mean that's a nutty joke. Of course I read it first from tp to bottom, and it seemed EXTREMELY out of character for you. Then I read the instructions, and I saw that I'd been fooled.
