Western too difficult?

Are you getting bad grades? Is your overall average embarrassing compared to what it was in high school? Are you constantly asking yourself if you really deserve to go to Western?

If you are, don't worry because you're not the only one. I transferred to Western this year from an American school. However, sometimes I wonder if I accidentally hopped on the wrong plane and flew to Harvard instead of London. And no, I am no an ignorant American who has no idea of how much more advanced the Canadian education system is.

I am currently a first-year student in the Administrative&Commercial Studies program - Western's cute name for business administrative. What I don't understand is the reason the class average on all of my tests so far has been so low.

Most of all, why am I doing so poorly here after doing so well at my previous university and high school? I guess the main reason is this school makes everything extremely difficult. But will making tests and assignments difficult really result in a better institute of learning? I don't think so.

Receiving 58 per cent on a test I studied hours for is not only a bad result; it's demoralizing. It makes me wonder if I am university material. Getting an A seems unattainable at Western. I also heard they try to weed people out of the programs here. Why would a school want people to flunk out? Doesn't the school want more tuition money?

Maybe I'm the only one, but I think thi si all wrong. Western can make things as hard as it wants, but in the end, and ACS degree from Western looks exactly the same as a business administration degree from Florida State University - except for the fancy name.

Hahaha, this guy kinda thought out my mind loud. But personally, he is indeed not an university material. Come on, ACS is the easiest program from Western!

Friday!

hv been to Cherryhill Mall postal outlet to pick up my parcel and then shopped at A&P

-4 lemons, hv been drinking "lemonade"(well my version is without sugar)these days. They say half lemon+3 litre of water per day = nice and easy way to lose weight. How can I miss this recipe!

-4 pieces of atlantic salmon steak! marinated them with peanut satay sauce and froze them so that I can enjoy a quick fish dinner later without difficulty

-one mixed fruit bowl. Feel like having fruit today so I ended up with this bowl of cutted and prepared fruit. Strawberry,blueberry,melon,pineapple,grape......

-triple fruit boston cake. My fascination about fruit and cream never ends. But it's not wise to keep this 8' cake without sharing it with friends! Gonna visit Jared and Chris later tonight.

-a box of fresh white mushroom...gonna add it into my famous soup. Yeah, I'm making soup again. This time it is ribs+hock+lo bok......smells so good~~~~

Oh well, I live like a queen although I also act as my own servant. Anywayz, I'm kinda satisfied with my self-contained,simple,crystal clear life.

God, virgo is actually on the list. Why it is not aquarius? Haha,whatever, we are not one of them. This I promise you.

遠距離戀愛肯定熬不過的前五名星座（參考太陽跟金星）。


第1名：天蠍座。

金牛座需要很實在的感覺，遠距離戀愛對金牛座而言有一種不實在的感覺，久而久之對方的形象會在腦海中越來越模糊，甚至到最後會讓覺得對方很陌生，一旦這種感覺產生了，金牛座也會很誠\實的跟對方講。

gonna stay at home for the whole day coz I'm so sickthrow up, throw up...it all reminds me the day I was in Korea and the night after stats 359 midterm...What did I do to cause the stomach flu I wonder! Maybe stressed out could account for it.  Alright the real battle starts here between my weak immune system and the highly active stomach flu virus.

Please remember these key points: 

• Stomach flu can have different symptoms, but the common ones are nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. 
• Only your body can cure this condition, but you can help it do the job by getting plenty of rest. 
• For nausea and vomiting, stop eating for two to four hours, then gradually introduce small amounts of water and other fluids. Avoid most solid foods for 24 hours. 
• For diarrhea, don't eat or drink for four hours; then gradually increase your intake of fluids. Avoid most solid foods for 24 to 48 hours. 
• If your symptoms are severe, unusual, or persistent, call your health care provider for further advice.

forgot to tell ya that I was actually back to normal after a whole day's rest and I cooked sth "nice" for myself- red bean and sweet potato with coconut milk. The combination was a little weird to me but the taste was super!!
