Sorry that it has been awhile since I posted last. The girls and I have
been busy. August 1 we had Clint's mother come to stay with us for a
few days. A good time was had by all. Then on Thursday the 4th Clint's
mother headed back home and the girls and I left as well to head to
Tulsa to hook up with my parents and head down to Crane, TX for my
dad's all school reunion. The girls and I went along to surprise my
grandmother. She was very happy to see us. We enjoyed our time
there in Crane. The girls got to go into a swimming pool for the first
time. We also went to the sand hills to let the girls play in the sand.
They enjoyed digging in the sand with Grandma and making sand angels
with mom. We got back to Tulsa late Monday night-Tuesday morning. Great
Granny, the girls and I headed back to St. Louis on Wednesday. Clint
was glad to have all of his girls back home. Clint was off Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday. He is back at work today. We are enjoying having
Great Granny here. The girls have really warmed up to her and love
having her do some things for them. We are all looking forward to
having more family come in next weekend. Oh, one thing that Elizabeth
did while in Crane was finding my dad's boots and putting them on. We
took pictures of her in them and told her to say "cheese", so from then
on any time she put them on she would start saying "cheese" and looking
at us. The girls started saying four word sentences. They started
saying "I see you mommy" or "I see you baby" when we were driving back
to St. Louis. Well, not much else is going on right now. I willl try to
write more later.
