Well, for the last two days Sarah has been very exhausted.  Tomorrow she goes to see the doctor for them to see if there is something else that she is dealing with other than being pregnant. The girls have been getting over whatever they had. They are getting their two year molars which has not been fun. they are more cranky than usual. Elizabeth has been chewing on the inside of her check making it really sore. We hope that she grows out of that habit soon. Clint is finishing up his last month of medicine which we are all looking forward to him having weekends again for a month. Sarah is looking forward to Clint having his week off even though it will be spent house hunting.

The girlies are learning to do all sorts of things.  Sentences are lengthening and containing more content.  The other day Sarah brought the girls up to the hospital to have lunch with me.  We were sitting there when Elizabeth decides to yell "I toot!"  The whole cafeteria was let in on Buff's secret and Sarah was embarassed.  That's my girl.  Another time Sarah was getting frusterated and Heidi said "settle down, Mommy."  Sarah almost died laughing.  They change their names regularly.  Heidi is usually mommy or little mommy and E is dada or little dada.  Little comes out as lilly.  Finding Nemo is thier favorite show and they love their Nemo plates, panties, and sheets.  Heidi has scarred Sarah and I by starting to eat carrots and broccoli.  Elizabeth won't try them even for a babusheet (special treat).  They both still love dancing the chicken dance.  Heidi has a plastic lizard that she has named "chicken."  I think this is due to her favorite dance.  We're doing flashcards with them and they can recognize several words and letters.  Sometimes they can tell me what the letter says.  We also have number flashcards and both can count up to 11.

Sarah's back has been hurting her a lot.  The pregnancy is definitely slowing her down.  At least the nausea is better.  Her cravings are spicy food and chocolate.  Her new food is coffee.  She sweetens it, but she's taken a big step towards drinking "burnt water."  Despite 2 two year olds and a pregnancy, she is still getting to play groups and Bible studies.

I'm on my last month of medicine now, ever.  10 days until 4 easy months.  I've done about 7 weeks of medicine wards in a row and am tired.  The good news is that I on top of my medicine game and can get things done very quickly.  My census has been high for the last month, but I can still usually get everything done in 2-4 hours.  Last week I was mistaken for a resident 4-5 times.  I'm not sure if it's because the attendings are use to dealing with the residents and not interns, or the way I talk to them.  Some think I'm a resident because they never see me with anyone else.  I usually check in in the morning with thim and let him know before I leave.  Otherwise I'm generally on my own.  I'm also getting opnionated about patient care and frequently challenge residents and attendings.   An advantage of this month is that I have a good med student and a very motivated extern.  The extern is an MD from India and is trying to make a good impression so she might match at Forest Park.  Last call I got only 2 admits, one taken by the student and one by the extern.  I played the resident and let them do the whole history and physical.  Afterwards I went over the salient points of the H&P and then guided order writing.  That gave me two or so hours to do all the cross cover I was getting called on (dislocated shoulder, central lines).
