OH ok. I've only been to shihlin one time, so i don't know a lot of places in shihlin. hey i'm gonna have my first fight at tae kwondo class in 2 weeks.

Taiwanese people are actually chinese(race)

but Taiwanese(language) is just one of the chinese dialects

and in Taiwan, we speak mostly Mandarin(the widely used one),still some speak Taiwanese and Hakka(one of chinese dialects too)

anyway,it sounds complex for forigners lol

Yeah, but the split was due to dutch influence, back in an ancient war... and the history is complex, so yeah... life goes on... lol

Unfortunately, most people could care less about other countries or people. I think it's kinda cool to learn.

Mandarin is one of the languages I want to learn. So far I know all of one word... "Nihou" (I think that's tha right spelling?!? lol)

I'm so smart... *BRAINSPRAIN* ... and now I'm dumb again... yay me! lol

Maybe I should focus in and learn quicker, so we can talk in your native language as well? *grin*
