Hey everyone! its been a while since ive updated my homepage let alone my zorpia group. i hope everyone will continue to bring interesting topics to the group. i have to be a better administrator too. we're all otaku and we should sound like it. anyway, i just wanted to talk about the new york comic con that just took place recently. did anyone hear about it? u probably did. i went there. it was the first time i went to a con. i didnt go all 3 days just sunday. let me just say it was so surreal. it was the first time i've witnessed boys and girls cosplaying. it was so cool!^^ i got there a little late-that was a big mistake. the jacob-javits center is huge. it took place at the crystal palace which i think is replication of the crystal palace that once stood in london. if anyone ever watched the emma the anime then u know what im talking about. it was so fun there. there were booths that were selling anime and manga for so cheap. at the adv booth i bought le chevalier d'on for $10. i must say i watched the whole volume and the dub is pretty darn good but the sub is better. the guy who does the voice of sanzo in saiyuki plays the voice of d'on. u guys should definately watch the show. enough of that, i was looking forward to meeting some voice actors. i wanted to meet some of the cast that dragonball z and fullmetal alchemist. unfornately, chris sabat, sean schemmel, laura bailey did signings fri and sat. i was kinda sad but i got to meet chris patton and vic mignogna. i was in utter shock when was in line to meet them. i was like oh my god, its them. i drew a pic of ed for vic. vic was in shock and i loved his reaction. he said it was perfect and it looked exactly like him. i sketched it in red and it came out really good. he signed some stuff for me. he said name is beautiful. for those of u that dont know my real name huda. i swear i had a fangirl moment. i sounded like such a geek. then i met chris patton who is so funny and down to earth. he plays greed, sosuke in fullmetal panic, naozumi in kodocha. i got to ask him some stuff and signed some stuff. i told him that me and my sisters are fans. he wrote on a blank piece of paper saying khoulood and huda, have a pandalicious 2007 signed chris patton. that was so cool! the con was fun and i hope i could next year. please guys, i hope u could come so i could meet u guys. well, if want to know more of what i did at the con just feel free to ask.^^
