My heart goes out to this innocent child used as propaganda. She has no idea why this sticker is on her forehead, she has no idea why people are killing each other. She only knows she has a sticker on her forehead because an adult put it there.

I just really hate to see adults use children as pawns in their strife.
Even at home, I see people protesting so many things, often in a hateful or racial way, and right there beside them is a small child with a sign also.
To me this is nothing short of child-abuse.

So I noticed, Hamas needs to stop attacking israel then putting women and children on the roofs of rocket factories and other military buildings. Hamas also needs to stop hiding in rooms full of women and children while attacking the Israeli IDF. When Hamas stops it's attacks on Israel, Israel will stop retaliating and attacking Gaza.
Stop Hamas and you stop the violence, it's as simple as that.

Oh I agree, Both sides keep on attacking each other, it needs to stop. parents need to stop teaching their kids hatred of the others. personally I beleive Hamas is what is standing between peace between gaza and Israel. Get rid of Hamas and peace will have a good chance of working... Failing that, Have Egypt invade Gaza and take it over. Hamas just seems to be puting the Gazan people in harms way.

hamas, are fighting back, u wont expect them to let israil kill their people and watch, right,,,, i think both side have to stop, not just hamas,, also israil,, they are killing each other for no good reason,, why cant they just live peacefully, and i mean the 2 side,,
something needs to be done,, all we do is talk, there wont be peace in this world, as long as there is hatred..

To say that Hamas are just fighting back is utter bollocks.
Palistinian President Mahmoud Abbas issued a decree outlawing the Hamas militia and executive force, Hamas's charter calls for the destruction of the State of Israel and its replacement with a Palestinian Islamic state in the area that is now Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. Hamas provoke and attack Israel at every single opertunity. Even Fatah have distanced themselves from Hamas, and worked along side Israel to try and get rid of them. Hamas are nothing but trouble makers, and there will never be peace in that reigon aslong as those terrorists are running around. Fatah wants peace, Israel wants peace, Hamas doesn't. hamas fires rockets at israeli citizens, Israel calls in air strikes on the places where the rockets were fired from, Hamas puts women and children on the roofs of the buildings or around the rocket launch sites, they get killed Israel gets blamed.... Now since Hamas is willing to kill palistinian women and children, by putting them in harms way, dont you think Hamas should be gotten rid of?
Let Egypt take control of Gaza and run it, give the west bank to Jordan... Jordan is pretty much a Palistinian state anyways, it has an 85% Palistinian population. israel wont have any problem with that, Neither will Jordan, I doubt Egypt will disagree with being given extra land, the palistinians get a bigger state, everyone would be happy, except Hamas..... so get rid of Hamas and let there be peace.

i do understand where u coming from, hamas are putting their people at big risk, and yet whats happening is people getting killed from both sides,, which isnt right,, i only feel sorry for the kids cuz they are not to blame for all of this,, how do u think that they can get rid of hamas???

It's pretty simple to get rid of Hamas.

1. Eygpt, Israel and Fatah form an Allience.

2. Draw up a grid System for gaza i.e. so many buildings per grid.

3. Egypt brings forces to the Southern boarder of Gaza

4. Israel and Fatah Bring forces to the Eastern and Northern Boarders.

5. Sweep the buildings, Grid by grid for weapons, propoganda, Hamas members.

6. Secure perimiters around the already swept grids, no one in, no one out.

7. With Egypt moving in from the south, fatah and Israel from the North and East, Hamas members would more than likely move to the central/western sections of Gaza.

8. With limited weapons, Ammo and supplys, and closed in on 3 sides and with little to no civilians in that area due to grid searching and civilian processing, all that would be left would be an air strike.

9. With Hamas eliminated, peace talks can continue, the civilians in Gaza wont have to worry about Israeli air strikes, due to no more hamas, Gaza could become an Egyptian state or province. They would enjoy benifits from both the Egyptian protection and the Israeli trade routes, Egypt and Israel would have stronger ties for future relations. The west bank could then join Jordan to help form a bigger palistinian state, Peace would of been further acheived due to the Allience between israel and fatah to get rid of hamas, everyone would be happy, no more attacks, threats, etc

10. Celebraite peace in the Middle East (excluding Iran and Iraq due to ongoing conflicts and possible future conflicts i.e. Iran and it's insaine dictator)

To answer another point that i have heard again and again, and not to cause any offense.

when you hear palistinians say, you stole our land, we want our land back, etc.... bare in mind, most of the Israeli people, currently living in Israel, were born in israel, after the israeli War of Indipendence in 1948.
Most of the Palistinians in Gaza and the west bank were born after 1948 when Israel already existed.
The point I am making is that those born after 1948 cannot claim another land to be theirs if it already existed before they were born, so they need to let it rest.
Wars of indipendence are just that, they claim the Indipendece of a territory for a perticular country to be formed. A good example of this would be the United States of America. That used to be a British colony, part of our Empire, until 1776 when there was a war of Indipendece and the untied states was born... ok granted it wasn't granted indipendece until 1978 2002 years later, but my point is that a war of indipendence happened and a new country was born, most countries have been born this way. You dont hear the British public threatening to kill every single american until they give us our land back, why? 3 reasons, 1. It was a war of indipendence. 2. it was before all of us were born. and 3. we couldn't give a toss anyways. but the thing is, were are good allies now, our differences were put aside and we are friends.
Palistinians and israelis can do the same thing, they will need to if there is any chance of peace.

cuz I joined when I was 17, left when I was 21, served my country for 4 n half years, served in Northern Ireland and in Kosovo during the war there. After my minimum 4 years were up, I oped to leave the service. Although my colours Sergent keeps asking me to sign up for another 4 years, which would mean that i would goto both iraq and Afganistain.. that would make a total or 3 wars i would of fought in within my lifetime. I fought on the front lines in 1 war so far, still desiding whether or not to sign back up.

I don't think your tactics will work. You might silence the violence for a little while but you can't erase generations of hate. It will explode again sooner or later.

Don't forget that you can't eliminate Hamas. What the Hamas stands for is a feeling that lives within many Palestinian people. They don't want to debate. They want to fight. And when done fighting, they will hide among their own people.

It's politically and financially not logical to put armed forces in the area, maybe for a "little while". You can't stay there forever. And when you think it's safe, guard goes down, the whole thing explodes again. You can't help people that don't want to be helped. You can't bring peace to those that want nothing more than fight, to put their own children at risk (or use them as billboards as shown here). How long would you plan on keeping armed forces there? They won't bring peace. Especially not in a region where people think it's kinky to blow themselves up, take a few others with them, even if it's their own people. You can't win. And there is nothing to win, especially not peace.
