You may or may not know that I was on a journey round the world at this time last year. From Dec 3rd to Jan 11th I was in Australia. One of the places I wanted to visit was Alice Springs. because of the book & the film of the story by Nevil Shute "A Town Like Alice".
I came of the Ghan railway from Sydney via Adelaide. On the trains I met a family who's daughter was ALICE. I had brought my copy of the book with me. and Alice very kindly signed my book on the Alice Springs Station.
