How does one stay real to one's self yet at the same time continue to exhibit growth?

Some much information,data and news are streaming through our brains and electronic highways that I often question whether I still have anything meaningful to say?

Many"great leaps forward"in history,arguably,have been paradoxical in their outcome and environment they were intended to benefit.What was intended to facilitate progress and advancement.rather,became a tragic step in the wrong direction.

Today,Chinese people(and,of course,humanity as a whole)throughout the world are still picking up and sorting out the cultural,political,social and psychological consequences and fragments created by these events of the past.Perhaps,moving forward is not always progress for mankind.Perhaps history teaches us nothing as we continue to repeat the same mistakes.Perhaps this great leap will eventually lead to the breakdown of human expression and interaction as we fall into the abyss of information anxiety and obsession with progress.
