Dear Journal,

        Last Saturday was my last day where I went for a band practice with my formal secondary school band. I truly fell in love with that band so much, not to forget the people who are living the soul of the band up. A band can’t play on its own without a player. Same as what I mentioned just now, effort, heart and time should be put in to live the band to the tip top of the world, perhaps the universe. Inaliably, it is hard to be a professional, but never give up. Cause even a dainty part of the song has to be perfect to produce a beautiful song. Being a band is not only about music, it is about the people in it. A band is totally different from a solo player. A solo musical player could play a song without fearing mistakes which would make the music ruined and wasting all the efforts being put up by the others. In a band, it is tough and hard to work together. But once each and everyone got adapted to each other, it will be the best thing in your life.  Music which is being played will be lively it will bring emotions in a song. Having fun together would be the best way to know each other in deep. But everything has its limit. When a thing needs to be serious, it has to be serious. I am not saying that a person can’t play, but play the right way, play the right time. When it is time to get serious, do so. Time has its limit and time doesn’t wait. The more effort you put in, the better result you will be gaining. Want to win other bands throughout the nation, not to speak about nation, throughout the state is tough enough. If a band wants to win the other band who are their rivals, they should have known what to do. Practice following schedule, finishing all marching drills early, use all the time that is left before the competition to brush up every single thing you learnt. This is the method for a marching band to win. Discipline and commitment of all band members are very important. If a person does not commit in a band, that person would spoil every single effort of others that is being put to a band. Why couldn’t that person just be more committed and think about the band. Think of all the important and leave the rest behind. It is not hard to do that. What you need to do is to be mature and think wisely, plan on what you should do next, don’t rush with time. Time will give you the space. But the only thing a band should have done will be daily practice. Knowing piano doesn’t mean you know how to play a trumpet nor a saxophone. It is totally a different thing to be learnt. Last minute won’t do any good, in fact the name of a band would be scratched hardly till a scar has to be seen and never recovered. So, why being a typical Malaysian, last minute in everything. Why don’t you just spend more time on important things rather than just sitting down there doing all sort of stupid things. I did not say that you can’t do all your personal things. But which 1 is more important now? Is it the competition or your personal stuff. Wake up and act like a band. Not politics, fighting over small stuff. A band certificate is hard to get in Malaysia. A school band certificate is so precious in Malaysia. Looking for a job in Malaysia with a school band certificate will buy you a better job in the future. Only 1/10,000 people in Malaysia gets a band competition certificate. That is how precious it is. This is because working in a band is not easy. It shows that you have the commitment to do things together as a team. In a company, team work is very important, especially for those who are holding big projects. It is not easy to handle a job. But when a person is committed and has discipline in himself, they have no worries at all for passing you the job, handling a project worth millions. Other than that, joining band is an experience of life where a person will never ever forget. Molesting your instrument by “making up” with your instrument, produce a beautiful melody, just like a couple kissing each other in a mall, because playing a music such a wide open place. Haha. but no matter what, every single effort that you make in band is worth it because it teaches you the real life of living in this world, hard work pays everything.

Dear Journal,

         After the band practice, my classmates has a gathering before each and every single one of us going for our studies in different colleges. It was definitely a remarkable trip. Haha. We had sort of an amazing race game throughout the whole journey. Haha. We started by taking a U63 rapid KL bus to Asia Jaya. After we stopped at the bus stop, we went to the LRT station. All of us crossed the road just like chicken crossing a road. Haha. Shari was almost knocked down by a lorry and a car because those cars were actually speeding. After that, we had a long walk to the LRT station. After we reached the LRT station, we bought the ticket where we will be heading down to Kelana Jaya. We bought the ticket and rushed up to the light rail transit because the train has arrived even before all of us bought the ticket. We went up the train, and it was spooky. This is the first time in my life I sat on an empty LRT. Haha. We sat on the LRT and took a ride to Kelana Jaya. Once we arrived at the station where all of us were still in the train, we stood at the door waiting for the door to open. The next thing that happens is that the train started to move back to another station without opening the door. Haha. Probably there are some technical problem with the door. Haha. We took the train back to Taman Bahagia (SS2), went down the train and took another train to get back to Kelana Jaya. Haha. After that , we asked for directions to get a bus down to 1 Utama. Haha. We went to the opposite site of the LRt station and waited for bus. We waited for a very long time and we saw a shutte bus straight to 1 Utama. That bus stopped at the road divider, I doubt the bus driver saw us but we did not went up to the bus. The next thing is that the bust left us. All of us were like jacoons, when there is a bus where it could be seen from far, all of us hop up and down with joy and happiness. Haha. Who knows, the real bus did not come till another 15 minutes. Haha. The next thing we did was went up the bus and rest for a while till we arrived. On the bus, I was sitting opposite a Chinese girl and Kwan Yi was sitting beside her. She has such huge legs, wearing a mini skirt she crossed her legs. Every time I looked up, you will understand what I will be seeing. Haha. Me and Kwan Yi heard about her conversation with her friend who is sitting right beside her. Haha. She was talking about selling items, buying items, sound sort of business woman type of person. haha. We rested for a while and we arrived  at 1 Utama after 1 and a half hour. Haha. That was just the beginning. Haha. When we arrived, we went in and stopped at the 1^st level to decide where to have our lunch. When we stopped, I doubt I saw 3 girls stop and stood quite a distance away looking into my way. Haha. I really don’t know what was that but they were pointing someone. I turned towards them and they put their hands down. Haha. so, I quickly turned back and joined the group before I am missing at that placed. We finally decided to calm down at Chillies. There were 13 of us and we had to wait for our place to be set. So, me, Yuan Jing, Jamie and Bhakti decide to go for an amazing race. Haha. We went from the new wing to the old wing, then back to new wing, running from 1 level to another level just to get a birthday cake for Joshua. Haha. Finally, we stopped by at secret recipe and we manage to buy a slice of cake for him. Haha. We went back to Chillies and waited for the rest to come back and have our lunch. Haha. All of us arrived and We ordered our food. The food arrived 30 minutes later and we found out that a person’s lunch set was not only for a person. haha. It was humongous. Haha. We finished our lunch and celebrated Joshua’s birthday. Haha. After that we left Chillies and head our own ways. Haha. Some went home, some went for a movie, me, Jamie and Yuan Jing went for shopping spree. Haha. We tried out lots of clothes but it was only a window shopping because the price was a little unaffordable. Ha-ha. I tried out the shades, trying to buy it for my mom for mothers day but I have not enough cash. Wanted to go to the atm machine, withdraw some money, who knows, something really funny happened. Haha. I was lining up, waiting for my turn to withdraw money. You know what happened, I slot in my atm card and it didn’t went in. I tried to take it out and put it in, the card just pulled itself in. haha. I let the card go and it went in. the next thing that came out was “out of service”. Isn’t it stupid?? Haha. That is why I can’t get anything for Mothers day. Haiz. After that we were all so exhausted and thirsty. To quench our thirst and save money, we went to McDonald, bought a set of things to eat, and shared a cup of drink. Who doesn’t know that McDonald allows us to refill right? Haha. We refilled for around 4 times. I think the sales girl knows who am I very well and hated me for what I have done. Haha. After that, we went to a souvenir shop. There were so many interesting things you can find in that shop. Just like the mini sized vacuum cleaner. Haha. We went round and round the shop for so many times and played with almost everything. Haha. Jamie’s brother came after that to fetch us home. Haha. We were supposed to wait at sushi king but we were lost. We don’t even know where sushi king is. Haha. There goes our amazing race again. We ran all around the lower ground and looked for Sushi King. Haha. We asked people, and we did not walk. We ran because it was quite late at that time. Haha. We found Sushi King and  squeeze into a proton waja with a total number of 7 of us. (5 behind and 2 in front). Haha. We were talking all sorts of jokes in the car although the space in the car was limited. Haha. Anyone could barely move their hands or body. Haha. We reached Subang Jaya and all of us went our own route home. Haha. I bet that would be the best day of my life. This is just an experience where nobody will ever understand. Haha.

Dear Journal,

        I think that would be every single thing about all these times although there are ups and downs in life. but no doubt, this are the challenges in life and I really do enjoy it. Haha. So, I think that would be all for now. I will be starting my college on next Monday, starting with a one week orientation. Haha. Hope I would have fun, and pray for me. Good night. Peace out.
