Dear Journal,

        Seems like it is only yesterday I write to you. Ha-ha. But this time, nothing much to say,but in my life now, although my college have not start, but seems like my lifehas its ups and downs. Ha-ha. This and that happened during this period I did not write to you.

Dear Journal,

         On Sunday, which was the 21^st of January 2007, a whole bunch of us went for shopping again. haha. And this time, I’m not really into these shopping stuff cause of some bad experienced which happens on me during shopping period. Haha. But I found out something, although there are sellers who are so rude cause they though that it is their shop and thought that they are the boss there. But one thing they don’t know for sure that customers always comes first. If they don’t treat the customers well, don’t ever think that they will get customers forever till they change their attitude. Sometimes, although your product is so expensive, but with just a smile towards the customer, you can change their mind from not buying to buying that object. Other than that, they will come again in the future to buy more of your products that you are selling without even thinking of the price that they are going to pay and this is a part of giving the customers what they want and this is what they all known as customers is always right. But before the customers are right, make sure the sales and the conductor of the shop does the right thing to let the customers always be right. If you know what I mean. Haha

            Now, lets talk a little about our shopping trip on Sunday. The day of the hell, for me. haha. I just relly can’t believe how much and how long you girls can walk.LOLZ. I think if you girls all join the walkathon for the longest walk, I don’t think any guys can beat you girls. Imagine walking for 7 hours non-stop without even stopping for a drink or even a single drip of water. You girls are totally amazing when it comes to shopping and stuff. All of you can just see and look at those items without the word tired in your head. Haha.

          Ok, let me start from the beginning of the day. Haha. That day was a brilliant morning cause of the morning sunlight, with a warm welcome waking me up, but pulling me away from a chess match with zhou gong (the sleeping god) and I almost won him. Haha. But who knows, it is a new day and a new beginning. I thought everything will be alright cause it has been long since I went for shopping with my juniors.

          We met at the bus stop opposite Summit (fyi: shopping complex) at 1130hr. But let us talk about something before that. Haha. Actually that was the first timeI styled my hair when I go for a shopping trip or something and usually I don’t do that. I only make myself look great during formal occasions. Haha. So, I styled my hair and it didn’t really go like what I wanted cause I used the hard and hold type hair wax. And I was in a rush cause when I finish my hair, it was already 11.15 am and my hair was like still messy. I just ignore it and walked out of the house and went to the bus station. But what do you know, the bus station faced towards the main road. So, when cars pass by, you will get a great wind, just like a mini typhoon. Haha. And it blew my hair like no body’s business. When the girls reached the bus stop, they saw me looking different and they mentioned that my hair looks great. Actually thanks to those vehicles that drove pass me that day. Haha.

          Those who went shopping at Sungai Wang Plaza and Times Square are Kiki(Wai Kit), Ryn ryn(Karyn), Yi Lyn, Jojo(Zhuo Lin), Lili (Li Yuan) and of course not to forget about me, Koko. Haha. sweat. LOLZ. We went there by bus and yi lyn, as usual, she was late and she got lost in the middle of KL (Kuala Lumpur). Haha. We went to KL Sentral by bus number T63 and took the Star Monorail and head towards Bukit Bintang. Haha. The first step we walked into Sungai Wang, that was the moment we started our shopping trip. Haha. We started shopping while waiting for Yi Lyn to arrive. Haha. That time we went to a shop where they sell man’s underwear. Haha. I meant those triangle underpants. Haha. There aren’t any problem with the underpants nor their design. The biggest problem will be the plastic models you can see. Haha. The models all wore an underpants each but they make the “thing” big and so contras. Haha. It just looks weird. Haha.
           Other than that, after we met with Yi Lyn, we went to this restaurant at the toppest floor of the complex. This restaurant I don’t really remember the name of it. But what I knew is that this restaurant was really really unique. Haha. we all went into the restaurant and the first thing they did was greet us. Every single person who works there greet us and we felt the warm welcome but the weirdest part is that, I don’t understand why is Yi Lyn laughing after they did that. Haha. 1 of the waitress brought us to a room for our lunch. Haha. The best part of the whole restaurant will be the room cause of the lightning which makes it so romantic. Haha. Although the room is so small, but it is very comfortable, they make it the Japanese style. Haha. Their customer service was nice. And the best part will be that when they played all the songs that we knew, all of us sang the song together loudly. This is how we all being known as the sakais. Haha. The best part was the hands washing sink. Haha. Li Yuan stood there for a while and just couldn’t find the tab. Ha-ha. Who knows, you have to turn the square thing to get the water on. Haha. After we left the restaurant, that was the time where we started our mission of getting cloths, for girls I meant. Haha. This seems like the shopping amazing race, this is your budget and get all the cloths you can for Chinese new year. Haha. So, we went to almost every single shop on the highest level of the building where it has more than 100 outlets.

             They did finish the 100 outlets and we took some pictures where all of us were posers. Haha. we were posing in all the pictures and we all do look weird. Haha.everyone cramming into a small screen. Imagine what will happen to our looks when it is printed out. We will look mini size and not even a single acne you can spot. Haha.

              After that, Kiki went off and head towards his second destination which is the PWTC(Petronas World Trade Centre) for more shopping spree. Haha. And we went for a little more shopping and head towards Times Square.Haha. When we reached Times Square, (we walked cause it is only a walking distance). The fist thing when we went in, we saw the body glove shop where they have a huge sign, “LAST DAY, 50 PERCENT OFF FOR EVERY ITEMS!!”. Once these bunch of girls saw this sign, all went in. I have to follow them in. And the next thing I saw was that these bunch of girls were holding a bunch of shirts to fit and try. Haha. But what happen in the end? Not even a single person bought a shirt. Haha. So we went out of the store and started hunting for more cloths. Haha. The girls started hunting for LALA cloths. Haha. The cloths that some people like it but some people anti about the design. Haha. But who cares, I’m not even buying a cloth. Haha. This process goes on and on, where you start hunting for cloths and start walking again if you can’t find a suitable cloth. Haha. But what to do? This is the fact of life. Haha. Can’t get one, find some more till you get one. Haha. We walked and walked till 6.00pm in the evening and they had bought tons of cloths and even accessories. Did you realize something, since our lunch, we did not stop to quench our thirst. Haha. not even a single drip of water for me. LOLZ. This is why I known it as a day of hell. Haha. at 6.30, we took the bus back to our homeland. I reached home at 8.15 pm. haha.

            I took off my belt and I found out something, my pants is so lose. Haha. Maybe cause of the dehydration I think. Haha. But for one thing I knew is that, I GOT SKINNIER!!!! Ya right, as if that is going to happen. Haha.

        That was the whole storey about my trip that day. Haha. And I think I got to go now, so take care and be good ok. Haha. bye bye.

Dear Journal,

      Throughout all these years, I have always been complaining everything to you, my family, my friends, my private life etc. All the while complaining to you, without knowing, 2 years had pass since the first time I met you. But, I realize, some things just won’t change, the shape of a car, the photosynthesis process in a plant, the care and love from our family and friends; but most of everything changes around us, from as small changes just like the moving of the earth’s crust, the sinking of the ground and as big as the growing of a caterpillar to a butterfly. But of course, the biggest changes that I could find, that is all around me all the time is the changes of people.

       Looking at small kids growing up day by day, month by month, year by year. Just in a snap, they have turn from a naïve, playful children into a white collar, holding business bag adult, working for their livings. But like what I said, some things doesn’t really change and one of the hardest things to be change is a person’s attitude.

Dear Journal,

        Having a flashback on our childhood, looking back there, thinking of all the things that should be done being done and things that we had not archive that could not be archive that we regretted right now. Thinking back of what good and bad deeds we had done. Being so naïve, we can just make this complicated world so simple. Walking through it every single day without being afraid of what will be heading towards our way. Boulders and blockage in our living pathway during childhood was so easy. Only two choices. First, push the boulder away to the side and keep on walking on your living pathway. Second, walk around the boulders and take that nothing has happened. Everything was just so easy, especially life.

         But, once you get older, it will not be like your childhood where everything is so easy, only a few boulders awaits you and just a few movements and just get through it. More boulders awaits you in your pathway, additional holes as deep as 10km on the floor, tigers sleeping in your pathway. Haiz. But this is the fact of life where everyone have to face to get through. Once you did not get though one of these test, you will not keep on in your life till you get through that test. But the only thing you will know that there will be more dangerous dangers awaits you in your pathway.

          Maybe all you can say is just ignore and walk through your life. But, have you every though, once you walk thought without even thinking of what to do to cross all these dangers, you might be badly hurt when you are still traveling this pathway. or maybe you won’t even get a chance to follow this path anymore, getting lost walking into another pathway. This is a dark and you will be the only one in this pathway. There will not even be a single person on the whole pathway, walking alone in the dark, where you can’t even see a thing, facing all these troubles where it may endanger your life.

            Although all these are the troubles you will be facing, but always remember, it is a dark path and the only thing you can do is to light up the lights and look very carefully where you will be walking so you will not fall into the holes, work hard to move those boulders and sneak past those tigers when they are sleeping. But, always remember, when you fall, always get up and start walking again. Never give up. If not, it will be the end of your road cause there won’t be anyone to help you but just maybe cheerleaders awaits you at the end of your path.

Dear Journal,

         In everyone’s pathway, there are all different stages of blocking in our pathway. Some are as easy as drinking water. But some as hard as moving a mountain even a centimeter. Different stages of training trains different type of personality and people. But of course, the more you do, the more experience you will get, and you will know how hard it will be to face all these without any help and you can survive without any help. As for those who can just walk that pathway without anything in front awaits them. Like what I said , you will be alone walking this pathway, once the water is finish, you won’t know where to find water whereas the other person who works hard facing challenges will know where the well is situated and will not be dehydrated cause of his working and observations around those area that he has worked. But, for some, they will have enough water for the whole journey, walking through the whole journey without even giving a damn what will be happening. What is life then? No work, no worries? What is the purpose of living in this world? I really could not understand till now.

Dear Journal,

           The first thing I knew when I was born in this earth is that, every single second after I was born, I have started my journey, walking into the dead end road. Although I know it is a dead end, but I will still walk this road, gain experience rather than just sits down and awaits the dead end to arrive to you. But , all I know is that, every sweat, every blood I poured out in my pathway are all worth it, making me a more mature person, a better person.

Dear Journal,

          It has been really long since I write on you, telling you all my thoughts, my feelings, and the life I’m living right now. Cause I have been really busy lately. Preparing this and that, especially my further studies for my future. Haiz. What a confusion I’m sturuggling right now.

           But before that, I would like to say that, although SPM is over, life isn’t over yet. There will still lots of ups and downs that I’m going to face in life. Like what everyone says, this is only the beginning of life. Nothing bigger in my past life can be compared after my SPM examination. But no matter what, life still goes on. This is the fact of life that everyone must face, when their time comes.

Dear Journal,

         Life straight after SPM of course it is not really as stress as now. Haha. Still remember the 1^st day after SPM when I woke up from bed. Though that I still have to go to school, sit for examination. But, in the next minute, everything changed. Felt that nothing to be done, I fall asleep again. Haha. Woke up at 3pm (1^st time in history). Haha.

           Only one big problem that I faced. Nothing to do after I wake up. I woke up, took a bath, wash up and sat down in front of the television. Watched all the movies from afternoon till night (no matter what movie it is). Haha.

           On the 7^th of December 2006, we had a farewell party for Siew Ying who had left to Perth and came back not as scheduled. Haha. Actually at first, though that she will be migrating to Australia, so we did this farewell party for her. But who knows, she flew back in December. What a joke. Haha. Just kidding. Hehe. But, at least we sent the message to her that, no matter what, we will always be with you. And that will go on till the end of our life.

            10 days later, 11 of us, Jo, DQ, Ryan, Joshi, Kwan Yi, Lester, Kia Vin, Bhakti, Carolyn, Abby and of course, ME, taking our guts out, bring us to a place of the unknown. Travel this far without adults is a total new adventure for all of us. Taking the 5 ½ hours bus is really killing us. 1^st day of travel, we all meet at Ehsan mamak at 7 am and I had to wake up at 6 o’clock to prepare myself. Haiz. 7.30, we said good bye towards Subang, heading for our adventure. We reach batu feringhi at approximately 1pm. We left our stuff at the lobby of our apartment (Sri Sayang), and left for out lunch. We had our lunch at a hawker stall approximately 1km from that area. After lunch, we went to 7 eleven, bought some beer, just to cheer up that night. Haha.

              We went back to our apartment, checked in at about 2.30 pm and I found out something. Although the room wasn’t that satisfying, but the customer service was a 5 class customer service. I really hope that every apartment, hostel, hotel no matter what you are, you have a customer service like them and that will only shows one thing, Malaysians are friendly. We shifted everything into our room, shifted our luggage and went for a bath. After that, we took a long rest. Few hours later, we went to the beach. Play with the sand, buried Joanne in the sand. Haha. Even have a picture of it. Then we all climbed the big rocks which is the east side of you when you walk into the beach using the pathway. It was a totally beautiful scenery. Maybe a little dirty cause of the leaves and everything. But, we all did climb the rocks and I saw oysters in between those rocks. Haha. We waited till dawn just to look at the sun going down through the earth’s grid line at the ocean and it was totally beautiful. If you have not experienced it, go ahead. You will never forget that scenery.

          We all went back to our apartments and take bath, preparing for our dinner. We found out that there is a night market around 1km from our apartment (thx to the customer service for the info, really kind of all of you). We walked and had our dinner there and I found out one thing. That thing would be, the attitude of the sales. They were totally friendly and this is the true act should every person in the world act, being friendly. Although it is a night hawker stall we had dinner, but we were really satisfy with the food and also the service we got, although we are only visiting local tourist center. Hehe. We had seafood and even brought some back to our apartment. We had beer and played Play Station 2, and we even played mahjong and I lost all in that night cause that night, my luck all went off. But never mind. We did not play with money. Haha. And losing is like what they always say, a part of life that you must face no matter when or where you are. Haha. And that was all for the day. We all slept at around 3 o’clock. Hehe.

             2^nd day, the adventure begins. Haha. That morning, we all woke up very early in the morning. Around 9am and all of us got prepared by 10 and took the public bus and head towards Pulau Tikus(Mouse Island in translation where you don’t really find a single mouse there. Haha.). We had our breakfast at a coffee shop that I used to have my breakfast there once. Haha. And the next thing is that we walked around that area, bought some soy bean to quench our thirst and we did buy some fruits, just as fibre. The fruit that we bought was longan (mata kucing in BM and I don’t know what it is known in enlgish. Really sorry. Hehe). A pack of the longan and we head back towards our apartment. Haha.

         After that, me, Joshua, Abby and Lester went swimming while the rest played PS 2 in the room. We swam for a while, and played in the water and we all went to the beach again to have more fun this time. Haha. This time we buried Joshua in the sand and we even built a turtle sand castle. Haha. I don’t suppose anyone has done that before. First in history so it is a historical moment. Haha. We took a few pic of it and we had fun playing with water. We head back to our apartment quite early cause the sun and the heat was killing. After that, those who went swimming before went swimming again cause the pool was quite cooling. Haha. And we saw 2 white shirt guys, quite good looking, but a little weird, they walked here and there, like don’t dare to come into the pool. Then, after a while they walked away and never come back. Haha. We went back to our apartment and took shower preparing for out dinner at one of the best place in Penang, Gurney Drive. The foods there are totally tempting and it will be a waste if you do not go there and try out the food there. Haha. We ate a lot till I was like a humpy dumpy, who couldn’t really walk well. Haha. After that, we went to the beach near by and it was low tide. So, we sat at the side there and have a peaceful though of ourselves, played with bubbles, enjoy the wind and look at fire works (kwan yi still can’t see it). Haha. We went back by bus at around 9.45 pm. the bus arrived like an hour later and it was pack with people. we stood and finally got a seat before we arrive there. The best part is that the bus is much better than Tokyo drift. Haha. Goes up and hill and come down, especially at night, the whole bus flew up and down and I was not kidding. Haha. We went back to our apartments and played till around 3-4 am and we went to bed.

          3^rd day, we rented a van that will bring us anywhere we want to go around Penang Island. We took the van and had our breakfast. After that, we all went to the butterfly park where I think kwan yi says that those bugs looks like being painted on it cause those colours reflect. Haha typical kwan yi. Haha. After that, we went to the toy museum, and had a really fun time there.  Haha. You should really take a visit to the toilet cause it is really unique, not like the others. Haha. Then we took the van and head towards kek lok si temple. All of us had lots of prayings and we really did have fun inside. Haha. Taking pictures and so on. Haha. We took the elevator  up to the top of the hill where you can pray at the biggest Quan Yim statue there. We climbed the pagoda and had fun. But problems started when we come down. The elevator spoilt and we had been trap inside the elevator and traveled up and down for a few times. We got fed up and they used the spare elevator and it got jammed. Our ticket to the Penang Hill was 4.45 and we are still stuck at kek lok si temple at 4.40. So, what we all did was have an amazing race. Haha. and we manage to get to Penang Hill in time and took the 5 o’clock tramp to the top of the hill. You can really get a great view on top of the hill and we did saw lots of monkeys at the hill. Haha. it just seems like they are our entertainment, but just that we don’t “pay” them. Haha. We went back and  had our dinner at Gurney Plaza and went back to our apartment by bus. We were almost lost in the middle of George Town. Haha. We reach back to our apartment at 10.30 and we all went to the beach at 12 midnight cause wanna hunt for ghost. Haha. But who knows, we saw lots of people fishing there. Haha. and Joshua went missing. We all looked for him and then we all walked back to wait for him . On the way, we all saw him and we all act that we didn’t see him. Haha. After that, Lester, Joshua and Ryan got emotional and they went to mamak and we played mafia in the girl’s apartment. Haha. After that, we went out to find them but we did not went to the mamak stall but we went to the 24 hours mart called Happy Mart. Haha. We had instant noodles there and we saw mat rempits there. Haha. By the way, who even give a damn about them. Haha. We all went there around 3 am. After that, we all went back to our apartments and slept at around 6 am. Haha

       4^th day, last day. All of us woke up at about 10 am, all tired but all of us pack up and prepare to check out and head back home. Haha. The bus came at 12 and all of us were tired and all of us slept like piggies on the bus. Haha. And that was the end of our journey to our adventure. Lots of experience gain, but not to forget, relations between friends got closer was the biggest benefit we got from this great 4 days adventure.

Dear Journal,

           Life after that adventure was different, thinking of what to be done. Waiting for my SPM results, thinking of my future career, what job should I seek and what is the best for me to archive a good result for my future. Everything here counts. Maybe Wen Yah said I was a little fussy, but this is my future. This is the twinning point of everything. Once wrong, your whole life will be gone. Today, I went to the Star Education Fair. Me and Yuan Jing went only cause the rest went yesterday. Both of us started walking from the start till the end, taking brochures, goodie bags(nothing but brochure inside) and asked lots of questions. What to do, this is your future. Both of us were a little weird, haha , we went to Segi College and find the same person twice to ask more questions. Haha. Her name was Shen Li. I remembered her name cause it is quite close to my classmates’ name Shen Yi. Haha. I asked a lot, but seems like till now still can’t really decide which college to go. There are still holes and leakage here and there in every college that I went and they did not really reached what I expected. So, it is really a hard time for me to make my decision yet and because my results are not out yet, so, making choices now I would think it is a little too early right? Haha. I don’t know. But I will make my decision as soon as possible.

Dear Journal,

      Life has change for me. It is not like before, where I can be so naïve and playful. Nothing is really right for me right now. But, no matter how, I will take the challenge and face the challenge with all the strength and guts I have with me. No matter how, I know I will pass this level with flying colours if I do study hard and not being like the old days, being naïve and playful. I promise you.

         I think these are all I can tell you till now. Haha. Good night and peace out!!
