Hey hey… finally have day off to sort out my pix… wow~ 300D is a good beginner D-SLR! This is my 1^st time use SLR, and I feel the power of using it at very 1^st. specially MF… the len not really have good range to play with, but I guess good enough for me! And main point is the image clean and sharp. hohoh~ so much control I can have… hehe although not really fully know to play with those adjustments. The battery is very good life-durable, I used 3 days still got 30% left. The camera reaction is FAST, almost instantly(I love it). And the sound of mirror reflecting is great… kak! Kak! Just one problem is I wearing glasses…  troublesome with view-finder, but get use to it now… beside the camera is holding more firm in that way. I don’t like to use Auto mode, the flash always pop-up, just make the image wash out. That why I usually go for semi or full manual. But pix come out either too bright or too dark…damn! 1 shot took me 3-5 try to get it right.

Yesterday been given warning by security guards.  Haha (^_^)’… I tried 300D in Bullring. 1^st guard warned me cant take pix of the car exhibition in Bullring. I moved to other area and 2^nd guard told me not to use camera in Bullring… but I moved again to others area for more…( evil me) 3^rd guard came to me and asked to turn off my camera.  I told her I am from University and try to get the Bullring special architecture’s structure for assignment. She told me can get permit from managing office. I pretend to ask for direction and then I managed get off…hohoh! I Lied ~! Sorry… am I bad???   I guess they worry I am a car theft or something. 1^st shot for objects (cars) then 2^nd the surrounding and 3^rd the building structure… haha. Almost feel like I am in mission impossible. Do all the works and plans before go for steal!!! That day I might look suspicious as a gadget theft. A dark color big back-pack, a black shoulder camera bag, black tripod, massive black camera, black fingerless glove, base-ball cap, and my costume were entire black….

Again!!! Today, after I finishing work. I did some shots inside MailBox before I leave from work. I noticed 2 guards coming to my way…  I quickly get out from the area…. Hehe~ I am trouble maker… huh?

friday, satuday and sunday was okay... but today!!! the monday- official opening. WOW~ mad~~~~~ mad mad mad! i ran like a mad cow ~! i was in the wine house worked from 1000 till 0030.(14 and half hours- straight)  OMG... i was suppose to work from 1030 till 1730 only. but i been told to stay for VIPs. so i did! goooossss... it was busy busy busy. i love busy, i am a workoholic. even we trained for a week time. non of the staff is fully capable with. i keep hearing sean this sean that, how sean, help me sean, come here sean, do this sean, etc ect.... feel like only me working in there (actually i am)

kitchen wasnt ready for much, so we end up sold out most of the thing... and i have to apology apology apology... (why is me?) damn... so many compliment been given out...  around 200-300 pounds. but i do pround for my team tonight. they all did well and mainly cooperate with me. great! chef get on with me well....etc. so many things i tempted to change them tonight. most system , flooring line , serving, style, sales,etc...is better now.

one thing. i bluffed alot!!! i mean a lot!!! i recommend those guest what to eat and what to drink.which matching which... they actually listened to me!!! ooohh~ great ~! (i am not actually really knowing what am i doing...hehe) i guess i did acted in great. end of night totals collected 40 pounds of tips. not bad huh?

btw, where is my EOS-300D. why take so long to arrive... damn, soon i bought that. it droped 50 pounds!!! and Nikon D70 droped 150 pounds!!! DAMN

today is the 4th day of introduction and training. those training were great. never been anything so professional b4. may be bcz we all are the 1st batch. those employers really put some effort into new employees. this wine house is new, n gonna officially open business on 14/02/05. look forward fot it! feel it like my family~

1st day training was about the company background, quite interesting to know. 2nd & 3rd day was wine tasting. that 2 days give me headache... wow~ 6 wines on the 2nd day, that wasnt too bad(still able to manage). but 3rd day was 6 heavy wine and champanges and beers.... oh.... my head just  bob..bob...bob.... hahah, drinking on duty...hehe ~! i was abit drunk but lucky i am able to control and recover back in short time. today(4th) few beers and spirit... i am feel bit head dizzy right now... but not as bad as yesterday....

dont know what will be for tomoro...

so my CNY was not so bad. 8th got small new year eve. most important is drink before and until after CNY... hohoh~ with expensive wines and champanges! Drink FOR FREE and On Duty!!!!! where can find a job like this????

today i went to job introduction day. wow~ woke up at 6.58 AM... and out the house 7.40AM to catch a bus but only arrived at 7.50AM.... damn traffic jam as i have expected. arrived the city 8.20AM . tried to be there on time, but was too early...haha ! then went to sainbury to buy some drink... then slowly walked back to the venue. arrived at 8.45AM. i am the 2nd person there with manager included. after while 9AM ppl start to come in. the GM arrive 9.10AM...

then we started the day! filled some forms, listened some intro'. the place wasnt ready yet, and no hitting system on.   freezeeeee~ specially today weather are super cold in birmingham. my writing just horrible, cz my fingers was frozen ... ah~ i was fun today, so much going on. i managed to remember all of their name. all the tables' number etc... also managed to answer some questions. my heart just speed up bitting  when those managers suddenly jumped those questions to me!!! the whole day... know bit of the company background. bigger than i thought!!! which is good for me.

been told the intro/training going to be held up for a week of time.... what!!!! (mean i have to get up 6.58AM evry morning? geezzzzz) even weekend!!! not used to it now... but after this week shouldnt have anymore early wake up... which is nice...! (you envy me?) hohoho ~! but have to finish late...! (you pity me?) emmmmm~
