yesterday evening i have done my new collection. Since my first abtract photog 'light-tails', i have not get any more done for some time. But that evening, i have one-go to get it done, and specially thanks to my friends (Jiun Wuu and Kang Wei) to assistant me through the shooting. One and half hours we spent just to get it right. i was actually pre-shot some for testing at early evening, result not bad. Jiun Wuu said he interested and want to see me how to do the abstract photography. I received SMS from Jiun Wuu for Yam-Cha (supper), then both of them followed to my house.
i have entertained them with Burntout, and i went for preparation. As soon my setting done, Kang Wei started to be by my side and watching me, then followed by Jiun Wuu after few flash i had bursted out. I guess they seeing the fun and start to join me and assisted the play. i did let them get involve. I did not have any fancy equipment, so i have to try my best to use the thing around the house. My little torch-light, table lamp, reflector, card board, table, blue-tack, incense, lighter, DIY bottle for flow controlling, clay, flashgun, tripod, transparent paper, side-plate, etc... why i need so much things?? because i dont know what to use and what to do to get the idea i have in mind.
after few tries, we got what we want (nearly). missing lighting equipments, otherwise we could have it easily done and also better result. we have that done under uncomfortable condition. we neither can use fan for cooling nor air-conditioner for fresh air. i dont know the other two,but i have done it with sweaty. However i quite happy with them (result), and thanks again to Jiun Wuu and Kang Wei.
what have i done and what was i collecting??? Shssss~ keep it low. if time allows me, i should able to review them within a week. so... keep coming back to my site, then you can see and say the "Woow" word for me. hehe :P if they could make you do so i will be pleased!

yah, i talking rubbish. ya but, no but, yah but, no, but ya, but still a no... keep going~ ye-eeeeees i am talking rubbish here.
so much fun and so much laugh in these couple of weeks with my friends. but still i feel i missing something in my life time. still cannot figure them out what was it or what is it or what they are... *rubbish* oh~ dont give me evil!
seriously, i think i have passed my disease to my friends. a serious one! i thought i am the only people who will die on this disease, but now i got them infected. sad sad, we gonna die ~! how much longer we can live? the disease i got is "PB2005-BT" you have no clue, let me explain to you here, it stands for "Photography-Bug-2005-BetaType". it found by canony in year 2005. jeng jeng jeeeeeeeng~ wahaha!
i notice my 2 friends now. these day we talking about photog, we out for photog, i taught them photog, corrected their photog, kill them with photog bugs.
i used to play with P&S DC and DSLR, but now play abit with my analog film SLR. i have introduced to my friends and they start to love it. the sexy sound from shutter noise which cant be found from DC. i have show them my Canon AE-1P with no film load. still, they got fun with just play with the shutter. aimed, focused, twisted the film dial, then press the shutter, kuk-ciuk!(the light-crips sound from shutter window release). i told them that is nothing if compare to latest DSLR. Canon 1Ds MKII - the 8.5fps... i really want to hold this camera one day. see how the 45 focus-points work ( i want them all lit up), then have the long burst in 8.5fps for 1 minutes. wow~ enjoying the sound of 'click click'! i am mouth watering now.
OT now, stop there. dont know why i start to write an Essay again. i hate that!

Pizza
Pizza, yes the Pizza. I do not know what wrong with this world. I felt like I am having a Pizza week! I have many days with Pizza as my meals, not a day or two but many days. And the worst is those days are continuing in roll. A Pizza festival?
I have pizza at my friend’s house, then I have another one at another friend’s house after that day, then I have more Pizza at Pizza Hut (first time having meal in Pizza Hut at Malaysia) with friends in another day after, then I have another one at friend’s birthday party… endless! After that few pizza days, I finally have a day break without pizza. And then ~! My friend suggesting go for pizza again. Fuiieee~ I feel sick now even I heard a word of ‘Pizza’ come out from a mouth.
I have becoming one of the Ninja Turtles. Powerbangga~ hello? Is that pizza house? Can I order……PIZZA ~! If this happen to me I think my face with turns green like ninja turtle.
I do not know what am I talking about here… wahaha~ getting weird. opps

As promised to be a driver, at 8pm I went to Jiun Wuu’s house to pick up Kang Wei. Kang Wei has been Jiun Wuu’s house for over days. Jiun Wuu unexpected to be no transport to send him home so I have become a driver. Have not drive for long time (4 days) and I got stall at home soon after out the gate. SHAME ~! Especially night time I am no good eyesight for night driving, and just after rain all the water poles make me hard to drive fast.
After picked Kang Wei, they suggest to get a meal before send him home. Then we went to a Restaurant that claimed they have World’s Greatest Chicken. That restaurant just newly opened in Alor Setar which named as Kenny Rogers Roasters. I do not know what make them claimed as world’s greatest…
The entire meal experience was not too bad, under my fair-pass rating. We have approached by a staff with welcome but not warm. At Alor Setar standard I cannot demand for more, so I give them some point from here. Sorry to say here, my friends walked through the restaurant to find a sit themselves without waiting the waitress to sit us. I forgiven this, I guess most Malaysian do this. For me, I would not agree to do this because I hate my customer do this to me as well. Soon we sat down the same waitress who was greeting us has gave us menu and promoted their daily set menu with English. Wow~ in Alor Setar a Malay waiter/waitress promoting meal with English, which is something different and I like it. She left us alone for making choice without any pressure given (not like other place, s/he will stand at side for waiting order. I hate this kind of rushing pressure). The menu layout and design not bad just the choice limited. I have my dinner before picking up my friends, to company my friends with their meal I have ordered a Muffin Submarine (an ice-cream platter). That waitress took our orders politely without any mistake and the higher point I gave her is she had repeat the orders we added at the end. I always asked my staff to do that; it can avoid mistaken order and make the customer feel the care and pleasure.
While we waiting our meal, I have glanced the restaurant. The interior design has the spacial feel but in my opinion I think they wasting the place which can fit more tables. One we found annoy is the table, table’s leg just not stable and our table keeps rocking. I saw cleaning material and cleaning machine just at the side of the restaurant which can be easily see. I won’t think this is not a hygiene way to store them and worst they are near to kitchen! They have many floor staff, but I only can see most of them chatting and playing around. Yes, it not busy but at least find something to do. May be picking up some paper from the floor or do some cleaning maintain instate of fooling around in front customers. Worst was I saw few staff talking on mobile and SMS. What on earth the manager hires you for?
Not long after, our meals starting to come on table. Waiter has putting down the food in wrong order place without asking us. Jiun Wuu had a Black Pepper Roasted Chicken. I cannot believe my eye! The price RM7.90 only served a quarter roasted chicken with pepper sauce only, no garnish or salad (what a poor present). The following is Kang Wei’s Roasted Chicken Salad. From the far you can see the portion is okay for RM12.50. Close look, what ~!!! If the meal is for me I won’t eat that or will have it send back to kitchen. Some Chinese cabbage and lettuce as plate base, then tomatoes, cucumber, red cabbage, an egg, and carrot around the plate. Few slices of chicken breast meat played on the top and cover with 3 packs of Thousand Island Sauce. The cabbage and lettuce look old and brownie end. Cucumber looks like been cut and stored for some time. Boiled egg looks like days old. Tomatoes like old skin with wrinkles and red carrot has become old softy look. Chicken doesn’t look so fresh for me either! The plate for the salad was cold and full with water condenses. The overall of the plate give me an image that this plate of salad has been done few days back before it comes out again from a fridge. The worst was the 3 packs of sauce. It laying on your food with direct contact, I wonder the package clean or not. If want to offer the sauce, perhaps put them in a dish-pad or at least a side from the food (not on top of it).
Follow with muffins and our drinks. The muffin is priced at RM1.80 each but it size smaller than half of my small fist. I cannot see any vanilla seed or chocolate chip in the muffin, just a plain looks muffin. Those drinks are in half liter mug with ice filled. RM3.90 for Milo and RM4.90 for Float. |O_O|
My Muffin Submarine arrived. The sending waitress put her thumb into my bowl, er… lucky she not put her whole thumb into my ice-cream! It looks fair enough for me with the price of RM8.90. When I started it, then I have disagreed with my thought. The wafer sticks on the 3 balls ice cream just not fresh. I feel like I am eating a dog food (chewy bone). Wafer stick just not crisp but chewy rubber feel. It is classical combination ice-cream flavors (vanilla, strawberry and chocolate) only, it is taste just like Wall’s and not any brand or good taste ice-cream. As named to Muffin Submarine, yes it has two little pieces of muffin. Stingy portion given but I have to thank to the chef. Otherwise I might choke by the muffins. Tell you what, it almost hard like rock. I guess they might be the left over muffin after sale.
I am not complaint expensive about the meal here, but I just do not feel it is worth to pay that much. Beside a 10% service charge, I don’t like that at all. I rather give the tip to the waiter/waitress who had served me well by myself. Kenny Rogers Roasters has World’s Greatest Chicken? I do not know where to see it or how to claim it to be. In 21st century consumer world, it needs lot of improving to get a place to survive in the world. This is my first meal experience in Kenny Rogers and above cannot be justify yet. Hope the other chain shops are better than this~ please prove me wrong. Malaysian hospitality really need to improve ~!!!!!
