i went to Kuala Lumpur... men~ cannot recall when was my last visit to KL. almost 4 years i guess. macam orang kampung keluar ke bandaraya! but luckily i am not acting like one.
have a network map in my mobile, and i went out with train systems. spend a fortune on transportation. broken now ~! not much places i been, just do some window shopping and meet up with a old friend. have meal, some walk and more window shopping. after leaving my friend, was thought to get out to town center for street and cityscape photography. the damn weather, rain like dog and cat...
the rain did not stop my want. i took mono-rail to KLCC... took few of raining scene. after i reached to KLCC, the rain stopped. hooray~ should say i am lucky as well. KLCC appeared in different way. thick white cloud surrounding the building, so as the other in town. I hate to shot same thing that others can do, so the extra cloud quite a helping hand. and after rain few water puddle on the ground, oh~ then i have more fun, shooting to the ground for reflection capture. FUN ~! few time i over heard the passengers talking about me. was laughing me as a stupid guy pointing the camera to the floor. i really want to show them what i am doing and not an idiot as they thought. damn!
nevermind, keep going. on and on... more KLCC photog. nothing else. KLCC just too much to shot! few tries for artristic shot, not a good result though. most blur off or not as what i want it. also too tire and i have no mood for shooting.
one thing that i still remember is a woman. i was looking for a opportunity to shot double image of KLCC. by seeing her aiming to KLCC top, i asked her to hold the camera so i can shot from her camera. i spoke Mandarin to her, for after while~ she reply me 'can you speak English'. damn! so i have to explain all over again in English. after while...guess what. she thought i want to use her camera. DAMN! at the end i just grab her hand and asked her stay like that. and i shot! after i show her and tried to explain again. even seeing my LCD screen, she still have no idea what i want. waste my kindness for explaining all. few thanks then i left her alone.
time past by, and i have my way back to bus station. few monorail journey(s), i arrive the last station with TIRE... oh~ my legs are killing me. cut story to short, i got the bus and i went home. what a day~ yesterday and today, i am slept like a dead pig. too tire~
okay then... no more bed story. good night!

Well, have not write thing in here for long. and those photos just sitting in my HDD. so i decided to do something crazy...yes upload to zorpia and start to write something stupid. you still there reading this? or you just click the 'X' to close this window? nvm, if you still reading this. then you still on, so keep reading.
From the last fornight, Northern Malaysian has been suffered from the flood. some area in serious and some slightly and some dry in peace. the highest mark was 1 storey building covered over. lucky my house has no effect, still far to reach.
By knowing from news, papers, blog, etc. a guy in home (me) just realised Alor Setar in flood as well. i am totally dump! one morning, a friend has called me and asked for helping in photog. then i have agreed with please, i want to see the scene which cannot reach by family car. Lixian fetch me to the venue where all journalist meet up. after while we get on a Mazda 4x4... and off we went!
That week has been rain like waterfall, that day as well. We started from Alor Setar's south highway and headed to Jitra. The entire journey just in rain, we hardly see what is in the front. slow we drive by the slow traffic ahead. That day i went to cover as journalist photographer. under rain photography equipment must be look after well. have to shot and run to prevent the camera get too wet. The flood level has lower and we seen few after-scene. civilian cleaning their home, throwing the broken furnishs/things. you can see all the street filled with rubbish at both side of road.
after 30 minutes, we have reached to a chinese temple. there is a hall which they located the homeless victims. I went around the rescue hall, not much you can see. not much facilities but only fulled with victims. a very simple setup as kitchen behind the hall. as photog and i have to take photograph. from there i seeing young child sitting on a thin nylon bed with sadness in eyes. soon i pointed my camera to capture the scene, they just hide their face (i can feel the shame they feel) yes~ is hard to press down the shutter to record their unlucky suffering. but i told myself i must do this for others to see what is the condition for there. to see how unlucky how bad the situation/enviroment by there. and some other victim sitting on cold floor and stare to a blank space. i assume they must be worrying about there future life after losting their home. not much they can do about it, all they saving up asets have been swept from flooding. what a pityful thing happen. helps, helps are what they need from now. but who?
After some photos taken we left the place and head back to home with different direction. From the way back, we saw more suffering area. the flood level was lower, still~ some houses are hidden half under the blown-muddy-yellow water. we move away from north to south, but the the scene doesn't seen to be any better. On the middle way back, we have a few turned away from none-pass-able road. Then we end up no choice but have to try go through the only way. We have the faith on the 4x4...
I used my second camera with water proof. i got that camera out from window and shot in poring rain. only few are good, but just for my own collection and not for newspaper. But in a suddent! the car stopped ~! we not worry but have laugh from the the stop at first. several times we tried to restart the car but it kept dieying down. We were thinking to go down the road and give the car for push. We can't! if the car's door open, the water may come in from outside. so we just keep trying and trying. few acceration pushed the car started to smoke. then we all start to worry about this situation, because the rain still on and we stuck at the middle of flood. few tries and we finally cure, and the car moved. 'Yeah~' we all screamed. what a relief we all have.
after i get home i have to go through all the photo i taken on that short time. yes over 100 pix from one of the cameras. within one hours i reduse the quantity by picking up the suitable for media use. have all them processed and sent to the journalist office for submit. 1hours doing all that is a challenge. but fun for me, rushing around with the second ticking passby.
here i am please i have few photo used on media. achievement i can feel from inner. great~

前几天，我随着父亲到Alor Setar Mall。无意间发现一个大海报-梁静茹签唱会20/12 at 7:30pm。顿时的我有个意念，想练习我的室内拍摄。就那样，我下了定论那天一定要来捧场！
20/12…经过晴天霹雳的昨天 （The Empty Film）今天难得提得了精神。下午5:30我就开始准备了~6:30抵达Alor Setar Mall。场合里已经布满了人群，为时间消磨我到忠程 的相馆聊天去。我坐立不安地到处徘徊寻找拍摄的好地方一直到7:30，终于遇见一位记者朋友-碧丝！天啊~我的救星。。。我随着她进入Press Area，后来还差点被主办当局的管理员Mr Soon 踢出场。死撑我也不出，还好他是大好人让我留下了。谢谢~！陆续地有跟多的记者朋友到场，询问了大家的近天。才发现Alor Setar 已进入严重水灾，当我看到大家从Alor Setar Telekom Tower拍的照-少出门的我还傻着呢！
随着主持人的一流口才，延慢的场合顺利地带过去。在梁静茹的到来，换取了歌迷们热烈欢呼。。。梁静茹一首接一首地演唱新歌，歌迷也当然是乖乖的宠听着。为了拿到好镜头角度，我无数次的扑到扩音器那头。耳膜可快被震麻了，头也被轰得昏昏还差点失去站立平衡呢！昏暗场合，我开设了ISO 800再配合大光圈f/4.0-f/5.6，但在闪灯补助下开镜的速度还是慢到极限。许多好照片都模糊了，让我更想要Canon 的17-85mm IS 镜头！台上的背景很差，领得我不想拍全体的照片。顾虑到歌迷们与要拍照地感受（不想被人叫骂），我也只能蹲在台下或台角拍摄。真的好想捉着梁静茹，要她站定然后我再用对眼拍摄手法。过后有双方平站的机会，她数次向着我镜头摆了私自可爱的姿势。但背后大台灯逼我用Fill-In Flash，在slow-sync shutter设定下显得模糊些。如勉强Post-Process的话还过得去。唱歌和签名的流程很快地过了。。。相信大家有收获地欢乐道别，后再陆续的离开场合。
哇！从地下停车场到回家路程可不简单，意料中的交通慢度。。。没办法啦，谁叫我要去呢？爽~！ 哈哈。。。
说实话，少听中文歌曲的我这一次捧场目的是照相练习。但中间也当然被她甜美的歌声吸引过去，还有冲动要买她的传辑呢~！梁静茹要加油咯！

I want to kill myself now!!!!! Wah~ in madness feeling now! *peep~~~* *&$%#@ox>{+-$()!@(#!)$(%)_~@}* excuse me my language (*_*) ai~
I was so excited yesterday; because I finally finished my second roll of film and had it sent to FDI shop for develop print. Was so so so look forward to see MAY BE stunning photos, also to do comparison on Fuji Superia 200-4th layers film and FDI printing quality!!!
What a sadness I have. I had waited the time reaching 2pm for collecting it. Have my excitement feeling while I am approaching to the shop… cheh~ the lady told me that the film I given them is empty. My reaction was : Huh~? What?!?!? Have a look to my film… waaah~ crying in heart! I can see through the transparent film (yes, no negative image at all) MAD !!! so I just waste my money. The film RM 11.00, developing RM 5.00, petrol RM 2, new film superia-400 RM 11.00, time – priceless ~! (eh~ sound like adverts) hehe :P
Continuing madness ~!!! Scream out loud: AAAAAAAHHHHH ~! May be you still have no clue what am I mourning about. Okay let me explain a bit more.
My 1st film was Kodak Ultra 200, the quality from printing and scanning was not so happy with. That why I gave a chance for Fuji Superia 200 and wanting get developing on another FDI shop. So I can do some comparison between~
I have worked so hard to finish this second roll of 36+ film, if no mistake over a month for collecting all. I have that heavy stupid full manual analog SLR camera + heavy lens around my neck and walking around the Northern Malaysia. Some PM outing, some landscape, some commercial work, food photography, close-up, abstract, flora, etc… now all gone. Can I use ‘gone’ here? Or shot I say never capture? Ai~ remind my sadness again. So, yesterday I was so please to reach 36 on film counter. I tried to shot more…eh it got 37 (as 36a), tried again, eh~ 38, tried again 39… weird! I continued shot them, almost 50!!! Impossible to shot 50 in 36 film. Thus, I retreat the film back to the cassette. The counter does not see to do back count. Curious I only have on that time, thought the film may have broken at the middle while I do my shooting. I brought my camera to the shop and asked them open in light sealed bag. So they did, I feel release that the film able to retreat and has no broken sign.
Today, jeng jeng jeng~ jingle bell~ jingle bell~ jingle all the way~ yes all the way with excitement to collect up my precious photographs. Mimicking Simigo (@~@) : “My precious~” then that thing happen (back to the scene as above) Me saying :”Huh? What?!?!” and have a look to film WaaaaaH ~! My inner self have fainting and stop breathing for 10 seconds coma. Then I have Ki Siao (gone mad in Hokkien dialect) can I get Fuji 400!!! After I left the shop and back to my car with blank mind… during my driving way back to home, have my car at 20kmh only (usually drive 60-80kmh on that road) nuclear reaction in my brain, man~ what has just happen? Asking me… how could this happen? Until now still cannot figure out why I can shot all in blank and why the film not dials forward?
CiiiPaaaBooooom~ *explosion* happen! Looking back to my crystal clear (unexposed) transparent film. What an art! That 1.5 meters of art work… I called it ‘The Empty Film”.
