phew i'm sooo tired! my eyes sting painfully at the bright glare of the computer... haven't felt like that in a long time, last time when i was this tired, it was in AJ. reason 1: not enough sleep. slept at around 11.20pm yesterday night but was woken up by some morons, who have nothing better to do in the middle of the night, calling n smsing me at 12 midnight. (haha not really morons la, they r actually quite nice ppl, just that i really treasure my precious sleep u know...) reason 2: LCOM SKILLS. today's lesson was especially stressful. just when i was about to get used to Mr Ferlin's style of teaching, i didn't expect we had to do extra preparation BESIDES faithfully following the instructions on the tutorial. well, it clearly stated that we had to read the case n fill in the blanks. it didn't say we have to BRING the case report as well... n i'm so sorry, the word ' case analysis' wasn't even on the paper! u can't expect us to know just what to do as if we've been studying this course our whole lives...for goodness sake we r just freshmen who study about this case reports for the first time n we did diligently follow instructions stated on the tutorial. after today, it seems like my stress level will no doubt always rise to near maximum whenever monday n wednesday comes.
THIS brings me back to last friday, when i sat for my first test ever in poly, for LCCOM, on statutory reading n tabulation. i was sooo nervous, but luckily lingna n sumithra (i'll be nice today n spell out her name) were there to make me feel 'relaxed' when we chatted so noisily from the topic of food to child-bearing. haha. my frenz r the ppl who make poly life so enjoyable. :) anyway, the test wasn't as hard as i expected. at least i could make sense of the questions n knew what was going on. i think i over prepared for the tabulation-buying a new ruler n borrowing so many highlighters n markers from other ppl. haha. mr ferlin really made us suffer by giving us such difficult acts to tabulate n worry about. but i think i got a couple of mistakes already, so i can't say i'll ace it.
