Galations 5
Freedom of Christ.
Life by the Spirit.
"22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other."
I'm so glad to have Jesus in my life. :)

SAD to say, i am going to complain abt msia's corruption again, one of which, are among the matters i'm gonna talk abt in this journal entry, no...i mean talk abt today. (psst journal entry is a term in accounting which gives me the creeps..eeerh! o_o)
well, i happened to come across this newspaper article a few days ago which ranked the country's happiness level all around de world. it was surprising to find out that the happiest ppl on this earth were living in the poorest nations, as opposed to the least happy ppl living in de richer nations. at first, i found it ironic cuz how can a person who owns more wealth, power, influence n knowledge be unhappier than one who has little or none of that? then again maybe the ans can be found in de cliche "ignorance is bliss". see, if u do not know de existence of prada/gucci, hps/computers, competition at sch/work, govt policies/transparency, rapidly increasing oil prices, u wd be satisfied with just gd weather, enough to eat, n frens n family by ur side. my uncle even commented that perhaps de top ranking nations e.g columbia r where ppl live among coconut trees n play soccer everyday. haha.then i thought abt how sociological concepts could be applied(post project syndrome), that a hypothesis of happiness being inversely related with knowledge of the world. hmmm but i guess intellectual discussion wd be for another time....
right, back to msia's corruption. msia is actually placed as a happier nation than spore which i find rather ironic. de most probable conclusion is that :
msians think corruption is good and as long as u benefit nothing else matters, or de majority of de msian population being surveyed as 'happy' belonged to these groups: corrupted govt bodies including mahathir excluding badawi, corrupted police force, toilet money collectors who charge u to use their filthy, broken down, un-toilet papered cubicles, snatchtheives+rapists+murderers+gangsters+drugdealers since there is no police to catch them, innocent citizens who think giving in to bribes is cheaper den paying actual fines, idiotic citizens who find msia such a great place to disregard traffic rules, lazy citizens who love de fact that the concept of 'proper disposal of rubbish' means throwing it into rivers, out of de car window n best still, into their neighbour's house!
WHILE
sporeans knowing too well of their govt trustworthiness a.k.a the "perfect one-and-only white P*P" would have better things to worry abt like being de most competitive n fast-moving nation in asia so as to attract foreign investments n talents, de problem youth of this generation, lesser breathing space, not being known to be a developed country in the West etc etc...
well, the list goes on and on but i have to conclude that this only makes me doubt my identity of being a Malaysian or Singaporean. Could i have just 50% of each? ha...
ANOTHER matter is abt a certain guy in a certain educational institute who's initials form the the letter B.hehe.shall not mention names for fear of being "googled" by the public affairs department and getting sued under the Defamation Act. well, this guy is so irritating sometimes cuz of mood swings i guess?
he's sacarstic,mean,nasty,mocking,lazy,rude,fierce,intimidating, YET interesing,passionate,sincere,knowledgable,humourous,witty,smart,charasmatic,fun...
so will that balance it up? hmm, guess it'll take me a long time to answer that question.
