Just back from my "hometown" Shantou, which is in Guangdong province.

It was 1 year ago I visited there.  It didn't change much in recent year, it was still clouded with motorcycles shuttling in the street, rubbish was scattered on the roadside everywhere .....

Mother said it was

On the other hand, I thought it is a wonderland.

Hope that the modernisation Storm won't hit Shantou so much in the rest of my life

Nowadays, most of us see "Technology" as an indicator of advancement. If we have invented or created a new "Technology", we will surely think that our world has stepped forward. Countries are seen as "developed countries" greatly depended on their level of technology. We are living in a place in a chase of new technologies.
