As Pakistani, we feel proud of our islamic, cultural background & history, what ever we are today is because of our ancestors who sacrificed their lives for this precious nation. The Ottoman Empire have played huge part in our Islamic movement (Muslim League) in India before the independence of Pakistan. It was because of the ottoman empire that the khilafat movement took place in India, which our ancestors struggled for independence from British raj prior to 1947. When pressure was built up against the Ottoman Umpire the Muslims of India started a KhilaTat Movement in India, and two delegations, one led by Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar and the other by (he Aga Khan Journeyed to London to plead on behalf of the Sultan. The Ottoman Empire khilafat may have been abolished in 1924 but their legacy & spirit will always remain intact in our lives forever in the land of pure Pakistan
