Rinoa is a beautiful, and open - minded person who has an astounding ability to captivate people's hearts. Rinoa leads one of the resistance groups trying to liberate Timber, this is how she meets Squall and the rest of SeeD.

Rinoa is a good fighter and a good friend as well. She is a person that finds loyalty very important and she is a very outspoken person. Due to her commanding a resistance, she can be difficult at times when around SeeD, but yet, she always strives to reach her goal. Due to her charm no one seems to be bothered by Rinoa's extremely frank attitude. Unfortunately though, she can often get herself into trouble, especially with her father, who she does not have the best of relationships with.

Though she is not a trained SeeD, Rinoa is very useful on the battlefield and also has a fair amount of knowledge of the world. She has obviously traveled and is also quite intelligent. Her best friend (who is used in Rinoa's limit break) is a half German Shepherd, half Breeder Collie dog called Angelo.

Rinoa has an incredible ability to be able to lift peoples moral when they are down. With this nature, she never gives up, she always tackles problems until she has  solved them. Everybody adores Rinoa, and even Squall can't keep her away for ever.

Despite all of this success, Rinoa seems to wonder about her place with these SeeDs. This is because she often does not fit in as well on the battlefield as the rest as she has not been trained like them. However, everyone persuades her otherwise, and nobody could imagine leaving Rinoa behind.
