So early in the morning I awoke,
A normal morning I waited to see,
Birds chirping busily away,
Yet the melody so sweet,
The trees swaying lazily to-fro,
Dancing to the tune of the wind,
Giving them a gentle caress,
Beautiful, beautiful nature.

I arose like any other day,
Not knowing what the days hold in stock,
Going about my daily business,
Just like I did yesterday,
But about midday, there was a change of scene,
A stillness felt only by me,
Strangeness in the atmosphere,
As if all nature was at attention,
Waiting for a miracle to happen,
A meeting destined by God!

I read the mail, and not the message,
I heard the voice, not the affection,
I listened to the beep, not the gentleness,
So little did I know,
That history was about to be written,
On a journal so wide,
It crossed boundaries and borders,
A distance of hours seven.

So gallantly you entered my world,
Like a unicorn proud of its elegance,
You sat and took a place,
Like it was meant for you all along,
Not the parlor, nor the corridor,
Straight into the heart you headed,
Lodged there so comfortably,
Without an iota of fear,
A thing I never imagined,
Was going to happen at all.

Days ago it is,
Yet it feels like forever,
Like always it is,
Yet it feels like seconds ago,
The queen and the king,
They’ve met al last,
The normalcy of my life,
Rocked into fits of excitement,
Simply by the entrance of an Angel,
The feeling, So Beautiful.
