Well, I am now in Santa Cruz and can go no further. News is hard to come by, but from what I can gather and from what Peace Corps is telling us, the Chaco is not passable right now. So, I am camped out here in the city until the blockades lift. I am extremely anxious to return to my site as I have been gone for 2 weeks.
I spoke to my host brother Reynaldo yesterday and he said that there was no way I could past Villamontes. Since I have so many bags that pretty much means I will wait. Bummerz.
