Racist Barack Obama T-Shirt
Okay, this is racist. Some dumbo designed Obama t-shirts with a picture of Curious George (the monkey) on the front. Innocent mistake? I think not. That got me looking for celebrities sporting Obama tees. The article is here:

Tell me what you think...

Yes and no. It is a stupid thing to focus on, and yet, people are obsessed with this stuff. In some ways, it may change peoples' opinion of him because they may feel sorry for him. I personally think he's getting a bad rap. That's why I ran the article with the celebrity tees.

Your language is steeped in uncertainty, you must grant that. "In some ways", "it may", etc. If someone is politically opposed to him, they will feign sympathy to a degree that is in keeping with their own self-interest(especially other politicians). Even if this is viewed without my cynical goggles and the sympathy is perceived as genuine, it will not alter their political divergence, will it? These matters seem to do little else but obscure worthwhile political issues in favor of ones whose only merit seems to be their controversy(if that is indeed meritorious, cough cough). Politics and self-interest are an eternal couple, but politics and pigmentation? Ah, I have said more than enough for now.

Thank you so much for your comment. I'm just looking for ways to connect with people. I'm glad you "get it."
Celebrities and politics are what I know. I'm hoping it's a topic other people like too. None of it really matters. It's just a way to let off some steam and get snarky.
But that racist tee really made me angry. If people want to hate Obama, it should be because they don't like his policies or his politics. It shouldn't be because of the color of his skin.

Oh. And all you had to say was "huh" - well, that about sums up everything for me.
It was just a way to show that there are celebrities supporting Obama. I blog about celebrity politics, so it seemed like a good topic. Guess it didn't go over well with you, which is fine.

Oh, I don't know. I guess because they are out in the public eye and it's so much fun to make fun of them. It's like a sport, all the predictions, the jabs at people. Besides, I need a topic to write about. Celebrities and politics are what I know. They say to write about what you know, so I do.
It will all be over in November, and then we can make fun of what a bad job the new president is doing. LOL.

Heh, they've always linked Curious George with the current President and looking at the list of remaining characters I can't see why they wouldn't link it with the next one.
On a side note, I'm not for or against Obama, but I wonder if the people pictured on that blogpost have a slight idea of why they're supporting Sen. Obama for any reason other than image.
