And i don't really think that the islam extremists are the only ones to be feared, what about christian extremists? they kill people all the time! If you know anything about the American Media, you would know how the USA has a few big news shows such as 'fair and balanced' and the bill O'Reilly Show which are just complete propaganda for whatever the media owners wish to say. As you can see, even the wording of 'fair and balanced' has such Orwellian language.

Without going into too much detail, it is clear that these news shows have one strict agenda every time- to win their opinions over to the public. Dawkins was lucky to even have his say with O'Reilly here. You'll see how O'Reilly really tries to suppress him.

I agree with you about Religious violence...we all know that Hitler was Roman Catholic, as are the Mafia, Timothy McVeigh, The Christian Identity (Christian Terrorist group) and the KKK are also strictly religious. It just shows that Religion produces much violence...probably much more than the non-religious folks.

At least in the sense that such a deity can rightfully claim jurisdiction over all humankind it is unproven and highly unlikely.

While I do not doubt that asking such a deity into your life would bring results, the claims that such religions have made have not been proven.

Any being that would desire jurisdiction over all creation is a threat to liberties, a threat to free will, and is highly greedy. There should be plenty of space in the universe for such people to create an unpentrable homeland where that can live life the way they want. To try and tell others how to live their life while on the individual level might be motivated by love, it is probably just the will of a universal hegemon who cannot stand the mind he cannot penetrate.

This one in particular is about Atheists being regarded as not as important as religious people in the United States. Richard Dawkins and other commentators point out that Theocracies are too controlling in both America and the Islamic world.

some of california is still pretty backwards and well my family thought where i live was a good quiet place to grow up... but its just holding me back :p i'm moving though so i'll live lmao. but yeah you are right the clips would have alot of people questioning their faith... and well... the old folks... might not handle it so well.

I believe that the time in history has come that will make a lot of people begin to disbelieve or suspend belief in their religion whatever it may be. (Many reasons for this).

That is why in countries such as the USA although the elderly may be intolerant to change, the younger population will slowly begin to recognize the logic of Atheism. (The definition of Atheism by the way is a disbelief in a deity).

It has reached a time where people can think for themselves. Thus Atheism numbers go higher....

Here in America pre 9/11 percentages for those who were Christian dropped from about 89% to about 78% according to Wikipedia.com... How many people submitted to the Christian God after 9/11 and whether or not some within Christian society found 9/11 as a great way to increase church membership is debatable...

Wherever that figure is now would bring the answer to your question. If most Americans think that their should only be one work ethic existent on Earth or the nation, then this would cause much problems to economic freedom in society.

And even if there was one personality that controlled the whole universe and demanded that all creation adhere to the personality determined by such a tyrant, I would still probably respond with the occasional, "Fukk You"... or "What the hell crawled up your butt"...
