What if groups of people set out to report a member and your new system just boots someone off?
That is just asking for the real trouble makers to start ganging up on active members who make Zorpia active and enjoyable.

We highly suggest for our users to report it and use our report abuse links to report such kinds of violation contents.

Our system has been improved and our staffs who are reviewing Zorpians' reports have to check both parties (reporter and the poster of the content).

Those people you mentioned such as pervs, stalkers are also included to ZUPS so upon reporting the content you are helping us to implement the new system.

First point, after banning and they come again to pester other zorpians what are you going to do? LOL there is a zorpians here who repeatedly mentions in forum topics that she was banned a few times but she's still allowed to trouble us. Does it mean this rule has no effect it all?

Second, what about those who receive warnings unjustifiably? I received a warning for “Posts Addressing Administrator/Moderator Actions and Content Violations”. Funny, when my topic is asking zorpian opinions regarding a trouble-maker, and I never addressed or attacked a zorpia admin or moderator. Others are telling the same.

Third, what is the maximum level of warning? How many violations would be tantamount to termination? Someone here has been repeatedly reported for spreading malicious gossips about zorpians and asking for fights, why doesn't she reach that "maximum level" yet? Its been more than a year already. Is that leveling different for all?

Zorpia does nothing at all to protect us. i have had 188 messages from people I dont know at all, and waht has Zorpia done? nothing at all what bu*ls*it!!!!!!!!!! I now Hate Zorpia

Richard, that is a little extreme, sure this is a major piss off, and although it makes me fly off the handle, I am sure this will be resolved soon, if not , me gonoa fly off the handle again and again.

I agree mostly with the automation and I also do support the concerns of those that could be targeted, so i would suggest

1) that rather deleteing an account it is marked inactive (minor code change)

2) each inactivtion is reviewed by your team (where the team discover the report is malicous, each user flagging that account as bad, receive an abuse marker, any build up of markers against the reported user are zeroed, unless proven

3) flags should last no more than 7 days, thereby they will not be cumlative over time

4) users that were abusive and banned, have their accounts purged after 30 days (allowing for appeals)

5) sweep the system of inactive accounts, with more than a years inactivity

I cannot put a lot of time into this webpage. I do need to reduce freeze &/or crash. Hey, as a matter of fact, even the advertizing on many of the other portions of this website does freeze my computer. This webpage is particularly hazardous.

For some of your site problems, might I suggest you try Firefox 3.5.4 (latest version), there is a useful zoom feature that is easily resettable, and generally scales very well (item 5 and 8 and 12).

Under Firefox, there is a simple add on that can be installed that will allow some advertising to not show.

It maybe that your machine is under-specifed with today's memory requirements, or out dated graphics drivers or the latest flash player, all of which may cause you issues

As for drafting a response, if you create it in a text based programme until you are happy with it, then copy paste your response (Item 11 and 6).

There are bugs in the system, a number have been fixed recently, though they will often expose others

Of new concern to me.

On my comments I went to block a user who has written randomly to me. I understand in the strictest sense it would be considered trolling. And I am presented with the option to report the user, again I understand from comments elsewhere that it is perceived that the majority of blocks are because of infringements of TOS.

I have no reason to be vindictive of this person, If I select a value that your team do not agree with, I feel I could end up with a mark against me that is unwarranted.

By all means give me the option to report, but make sure I can decline to report.

An example could be a lady who does not want male contacts, does that breech TOS (unless constantly repeated) no, but you end banning people for being friendly

Goshh!! I thought that WAS the rule all the time!! I mean...isn't it how a rule should be? Getting some penalty for breaking rule? Unless a certain number of warning have some affect on an user account, how would it coltrol what it is suppose to control?

However, may be Zorpia need to think if, working in restrospact would be a good idea? And..by the way, users have the right to know upfront, how many warnings amount to termination....and they should be informed ieverytime they get a warning reminding them how many more warnings left.

One important point: Three of four time, I got warning for reporitng people who send perverted messages to me, or posted perverted messges on my page (yeah...thats how sometimes it works in Zorpia. I brought this to Jeffery's attention a couples of times too).. if a certain number of warnings result in terminating the accout, Zorpia should be very vigiliant to use this power. I would not like to be abused by the zorpia admin for reporting an abuse.

However, its a great feature. . A big thanks to all involved in this process. Keep up the great work, guys!! :)
