Cell Phone Spam all over the site?
I went to work on some images and came back to dozens of posts about cell phones.
How did the whole orpia site get spammed with pointless questions about cell phones and what is being done about it?

You seem very knowledgable about such things so what you say makes sense.
Right now the big problem is this Russian guy spamming the site with his stupid add. Now it is showing up all over the forum. What do you want to be he has a proxy IP here too. I think that is a winable bet.

I see your point about the safeguards, and the Zorpia system.
Lucky you, I am lucky to get one or two topics posted a day if that, somedays I can not get any topics posted at all. I am sure that they have more than one set of filters they really use depending on the Zorpian.

I could be wrong, but I am suspicious by nature, and you don't hack a big site to spam it, that's a distraction (or it would be if I were doing it)

years of practice, scams work in real life, because people are inherently gullible, there is a need to believe in honest story. Technology works because the approach is unexpected. All system designers use a standard approach to design, if you know how to make sites, you then also know how to access them, the clever part is considering a w ay in that no one is looking at. The front door is easiest as most people expect the system to stand up to that sort of entrance
