~#~ Top Nine BRAIN Foods ~#~

This is part of an aricle that appeared in a recent Scarborough Evening News.
1 Oily Fish
2 WHOLEgrain foods
3 Blueberries
4 Tomatoes (Can help prevent Alzheimers apparently)
5. Blackcurrants
6. Pumpkin seeds
7. Broccoli
8 Sage
9 nuts

So how many of these do YOU eat
1) regulary
2) sometimes
3) rarely
4 Never.

We dont use blueberries but could do if available, we dont use much sage, though it is growing in our garden.

We NEVER use fish (being vegans)

But all the others are regularly eaten in our household.

The article also suggested some manufactured "supplements" But it is always better to eat the real foods, I think.

ANOTHER article on the same page says

<B>"An Apple a day is better than Supplements"</B> and that is likely to protect you from cancer and give you a health heart and lungs.

In gerneral we eat on average two apples a day, or more.

How many of you have at least one apple every day?

*SMILES*

Well, back in the days I was a kid we used to drink the fosset (tap) water with no worries :) Now, I see that things are changing and everyone that I ask about the drinking water they tell me not to drink it. How's the water in your town? Can you drink it?
