Tire Chains

Well you dont nessesarely need tire chains when its raining, snow and ice yes.
BUT...You cant possible be THAT hungry that you wont be able to put the chains on.
Like someone said before, winter tires are more than enough.

Tire chains are only for plows and heavy equipment, because of their weight, which requires more grip to slow them down.

I dont think you nessecarily need tire chains. Just buy some good winter tires.

Every season you have to buy some tires according the season. But, if you have tire chains, may be you can save your money.

You dont have to buy tires according to the season. You only need two sets a goo set of all season & a good set of winter. They should last a year or more.

Back to Topic.....what do you do if the situation you are hungry in the road and have to change chains

Are you trying to tell a joke or is this some kind of a quiz? Hmm, fortunately we can have spikes in our winter-tires here, so the chains are for "extreme conditions" only! With good tires, good winter driving-skills and some plain logic you won´t get starved......

It still autumn here...i don't think of chains i'm thinking of the graduation of my baby girl this coming winter. :))
