I'm not married but im going to take a stab at this ... This sounds really bad but I think this is what it boils down to (not saying it's not right) Women have more rights ... what happens is back in the day women had no say in who they married so they spread there legs and popped out kids and pretended they were happy ... when they got a voice we started to hear about the ones who got beaten and treated badly and thats why the divorce rates are higher ... so thats probably reason number 1 ... and it probably always happened and we hear about it more now and the divorce rates are higher ... number two is because most people who get married now have never lived with the person they get married too ... the person that you get married to and start to live with could be a complete slob and you never knew because you've never lived with them ... maybe some one they lived with always cleaned up after them ... so people start to get really upset with each other over little things like that ...we never heard about things like this before and the reason is probably because women wern't really seen as a big part of the equation when it came to keeping stuff peaceful at the house ... every one just asumed they were happy or didn't care ... which leads me to number 3 ... these days (especially in the Americas) life is a lot more stressful and it's more business oriented women have lives now where they never used to ... so I think sometimes men expect them to stay home and keep the house clean and then get upset when the women decides to have a life ... (im not a male supremacist and I believe in womens rights so don't rag on me about blaming stuff on women because im not )

It might be simple because we expect so much these days. We used to have to work a lot harder for things and now, a lot of things just happen so we expect it... maybe that makes us regret things more, about decisions we make and such (haha I'm doing an essay on decision making at the moment...booo!!!).

Oh and to the point someone else made... if people can't live with other peoples differences then maybe they shouldn't get in a relationship in the first place ;)

thats exactly right ... people arn't willing to work at love anymore these day ither ... why do people think that perfect love will find them some day and they will fall madly in love with the person for ever and never have to work at it ... I've been in a relationship for 4 years and I can tell you that little things do bug me ... EVERYTHING needs maintenance, your car, bike, house, yard ... so does your relationship duh lol

It's true though, if you're close to someone you start to see things which are wrong... but you accept that, it's quite the same as how you end up seeing your family... too much time in each others pockets isn't always a good thing :)

Coz married is the right thing and the righ things are not exiting...believe me ppl like to do some things wrong and when u knows is wrong and you wan t to do it and that's make it exited..that's why after married is not love any more..world os getting Chock.!!

There are some reasons people assume that married couples hate each other once they are married is maybe some couples arent meant to be together,or they have so many different likings to one another.if they found someone who had the same likes then they wouldnt hate each other after they tied the knot,also u get some people who marry on impulse without finding out what their partners are really like till after the wedding happens.

If your heart is pure then there shouldn't be any complaints, I once fell for a guy that I loved so much, I couldn't get him out my thoughts but one day I came to ask him out for coffee and he agreed to it. Later on everything went well, I was jumping with joy that I got someone I purly felt love and effection for. Later on in the evening he called me to tell me not only does he have a girlfriend, he challenged her that he can get anyone he wants. Broken I was, fell to tears and ever since I never loved anyone because there is no purity in this world. There is very less chances when you find a loyal person. I've learned my lesson ever since that day!
