it began innocently enough with young fourteen-year-old Gin deciding to get an online journal.
She googled it and found "Livejournal." She made her own Livejournal and was happy with it--for a time.

Then she became aware of her friends' Xangas. She wanted to comment on them, but to do so she had to have her own.

Fast-forward six months, and her friend Merritt forces her to make a Myspace. Against her better judgement, Gin does. She gets horribly addicted. She is fifteen at this point.

Some months later she hears of Blogspot and creates one as well, painfully aware of the bitter indiscretion she is committing against the world of internet.

This brings us to the present, as Gin's friend Amy invites her to Zorpia, and Gin has by this time lost all willpower and cannot say "no" to a "create!" button.
